I was always told
To never fight
Never play rough
Never act tough
when the boys got to play
I had to stay far awayI was always told
To look my best
wearing a pretty dress
Always had to stay perfect
Had to stay sweet
Little white sandels on my feetI was always told
To have perfect curls in my hair
But i didn't find this very fair
I couldn't stay sweet
I wanted to play
But it's still unfair to this day
