Chapter 1 : Lesson's & Bad Dates

*Zayn's P.O.V.*

"Alright , today we start helping Zayn. He was just recently put in the friendzone by this girl right here ,"Louis said pointing at a picture of Fay ,"Faylen Monique Villanueva."He said seriously.

"Now Faylen , or Fay as she likes to be called , is best friends with our Zayn. And we all know how our little Zayn feels about sweet Fay but , he can't do a thing about it because he's just her 'best friend'"Louis said.

"Um...what's this about? Shouldn't you all be helping me instead of...doing background checks on Fay! Seriously , you all know her almost as well as I do. She's our friend."I said rolling my eyes.

"You just had to ruin my fun , didn't you Zayn! You just had to Zayn!"Louis whined as he stomped out of the kitchen. I sighed as as I stood up and walked out after him into the living room.

"Louis! I'm sorry mate. I didn't mean to ruin your fun , I really am sorry."I said as I sat down next to him on the couch. He shrugged as he continued watching his cartoons. I pouted as I poked his shoulder.

"Its fine Zayn , I was only joking mate. Plus , I needed an excuse to come out here and watch my cartoons!"He exclaimed as he jumped up and down , clapping his hands like a little kid. I laughed and shook my head at his childish antics.

"Okay , well your cartoons are gonna have to wait. This is a very serious matter!"I exclaimed a little to dramatically. I mean hey , I have a reason. The girl that I have feelings for only sees me as Zayn..her best friend.

"Oh Zayn , what do you have to worry about? The best friend always gets the girl in the end...I mean he always gets his best friend in the end..you have nothing to worry about!"Louis said giving me a sideways glance.

"I don't really know Louis , I hope your right Lou. Now come on! You can watch your cartoons later!"I said as I grabbed his arm and dragged him back to the room where all the other boys were sitting and talking still.

"Alright , now that everyone is back. We can go ba-"The phone suddenly went off , interrupting Harry. I walked over to the phone and clicked answer before holding it up to my ear.

"Hello?"I asked.

"Zayn?"It was Fay!

"Fay! Hey!"I said as I smiled. Soon all the boys were surrounding me trying to hear mine and Fay's conversation. I gave them all weird looks as I tried to push them away from me. They were to close.

"Hey Zayn! Do you think you could meet me at the Starbucks that's down the street at like..twelve-ish?"

"Yeah sure! I'll see you there."

"Oh and bring Niall! Missy wants to see him."She said laughing lightly at something Missy had said to her.

"Alright will do. We'll meet you there. Bye Fay."I said chuckling lightly.

"Bye babes!"She laughed before the line went dead. I put the phone on the counter and turned to Niall.

"We have to meet Fay and Missy at Starbucks."I said to him. His eyes lit up as he heard that Missy was gonna be there and ran upstairs to get ready. I laughed but stopped as I noticed all the other guys pouting.

"Um..Why are you all pouting?"

"Because we weren't invited to this little get together!"Liam said as he continued pouting. I sighed as I shook my head.

"Fine , you all can come to."I said. I instantly regretted it as they all cheered and yelled before running out of the kitchen. I quickly walked upstairs and changed into a pair of jeans , with a white shirt and a flannel shirt unbuttoned.

"You all ready yet?"I yelled as I jogged down the stairs and slipped on my red converse. Niall then came barreling down the stairs like a maniac and busted out the front door. I stared after him before looking up when I heard more commotion.

"Wow , looking very snazzy there mate."Louis said as he walked passed me and out the door with Liam and Harry following behind him. I walked out and closed the door behind me.

"I call shotgun!"I yelled before I pushed through the Louis and Harry and ran to the passengers side of the car.

"No!"Niall and Harry yelled as they ran after me.

"Well I'm driving."Louis said with a smug grin and he dangled the key in front of our faces. Liam shook his head as he snatched the keys from Louis.

"No , we don't need you to break another car. I'm driving."Liam said simply as he got into the drivers side.

"Well than...shotgun!"Louis yelled before pushing me , and jumping into the car. He laughed as he stuck his tongue out the rest of us.

"Well...looks like we are stuck sitting in the back."I said before I climbed into the back seat and put on my seatbelt , as Harry and Niall followed my actions. Liam started the car after everyone was in and buckled and started the short drive to Starbucks.

*Starbucks*

"Okay , we are here. Please don't do anything stupid."Liam said as he looked at all of us. We all just gave him innocent looks before we tackled each other out of the car. I got up on my feet and ran into Starbucks.

"Zayn!"I looked over and smiled at Fay who was waving at me with Missy sitting next to her. I lifted my hand up to wave at her but I was tackled from behind. I looked over and saw that Louis had tackled me.

"Get off!"I yelled as I pushed him off of me. Liam gave the both of us a warning look as he went over to the counter to order himself a drink. I stood up and walked over to Fay stirring across from her.

"Hello pretty lady."I said smiling at her. She giggled a bit as she smiled back at me. I looked over at Missy and Niall who were hugging each other like they hadn't seen each other in forever.

"Hi Missy!"I said as I waved at her. Missy was actually a really good friend of ours , and of course Niall's girlfriend.

"Hey Zayn!"She said giving me a small smile. I returned the smile and turned back to Fay.

"So , how was your date?"I asked her as my smile faltered a little. She groaned as she hit her head in the table lightly.

"It was terrible Zayn! Like , the absolute worst date in the world!"She cried as she put her face in her hands. I scooted over to her and wrapped my arm around her little shoulders trying to comfort her.

"Oh , I'm sorry it was that bad."I said to her. I really wasn't sorry , though I was actually incredibly glad she didn't enjoy the date. Fay just sighed.

"It's fine , but I really just want at least one date I go on to be good."She said as she frowned.

"Than maybe you should stop having Rose set you up on blind dates."I said. She opened her mouth but quickly closed it as she nodded , obviously agreeing with me.

"Well you wan-"Before she could finish her sentence my phone went off. I gave her an apologetic look before I stood up and answered my phone walking outside

"Hey Simon. What's up?"

"Zayn , I need you and all the boys to come over to my office immediately."

"Um , okay. We'll be there. Bye Simon."I said before hanging up. I sighed and walked back into Starbucks.

"Hey , we have to go right now. Simon wants us."I said to the boys. Josh and Fay frowned as they heard me. The boys nodded and said their goodbyes. Liam had to drag Niall off of Missy and out of Starbucks.

"Bye Fay."I said she stood up. I pulled her into a tight hug before letting go.

"I'll call you later. Bye Zayn."She said giving me a small smile. I waved and walked out and to the car. I slowly slid in focusing my attention on what was so important that Simon had to take me away from Fay.
