Foster My Soul

I woke up in a soft, fluffy bed. It felt like a cloud I didn't want to get up. Light shined through the window, glaring my eyes, forcing me to wake up. "I see you're awake. Get yourself washed up. We're going to meet the rest of your family." "Family, huh? Seems like I'm still not used to it yet..." I whispered. Tsuzuku led me to the shower room and gave me a spare toothbrush and towel. I hurried and about an hour later, we left his apartment. I didn't know where we were heading to but it didn't bother me for some reason. I looked out the window as it  was my first time seeing Tokyo like this. So different than the night view. "We're here". He pulled over at a tall building. "This is...?" I asked with a curious expression. "The White Side Group building." He answered me as he exited it car. Tsuzuku pushed open the door in front of us to what looked like a recording room. There stood the Meto and Koichi next to a blonde man. Koichi turned back to us and greeted "Oh hey, (Y/N)-chan. Remember me?" I greeted him and Meto but was hesitant to greet the other man as I didn't know who he was. Tsuzuku stepped forward and introduced me to him "His name is Mia. Our guitarist." I felt bad thus I greeted him. His cheeks started to turn red as he greeted me back. I hung around their recording session and actually got a lot closer to Mia. The sun had set without us knowing and day had turned to night. Luckily it was my day off so I didn't need to worry. They had finished recording around 9pm and we left for dinner.

Random questions and small talks were exchanged throughout the meal. "So where you staying at now, (Y/N)-chan?" Koichi asked while sipping his drink. "Well, I stayed at Tsuzuku-san place last night..." I saw the members choke as they heard my respond as their eyes widened. I let out a giggle before I continued my sentence "Nothing happened last night. I just fell asleep when I visited him yesterday. But, I do live in an apartment near the Ginza bar I work at." Their faces relax upon hearing that. "Let's go look at it!" Koichi leaped up, proposing his idea. He clutched my hands in his and stared at me with his puppy eyes. He looked so cute, how could I resist? I surrendered to his plea "Alright, alright... I don't mind." I swear I saw his face light up faster than a lightning. He cheered in happiness and began to chase the other members out of the room.

We finally got to my apartment and I welcomed them in. I noticed their faces sullen when they saw the neighborhood I live in. I admit, it's not the best and might even be the worst, so I don't blame them. But when they saw the inside of my home, they expressed to be shocked in disbelief, and not in a good way. "It's so small..." echoed when it slipped their lips. I pretended to not be bothered by it, but I guess I did a bad job. "We didn't mean it like that! I mean, ugh... ugh... I'm sorry." Koichi quickly tried to clarify but failed. "I know that this place seems like hell for you guys, but with the my pay this is the best that I can get." I explained. They fell quiet. The tension in the air was so thick you could cut right through it. "Well, you won't be living here any longer. Pack up. You're staying with me until further notice." Tsuzuku's voice broke the silence with a very sudden request(?). Me including the other members were trying to protest against Tsuzuku but all he answered was a mere "So?" We soon gave up and began to pack my necessities.  While Meto And Koichi were looking around, I noticed that both Tsuzuku and Mia was gone. I went to my doorway and saw them at the stairway. I was about to go back in when I saw Mia grab Tsuzuku by the collar of his shirt. "What the hell?" I thought.  Mia leaned in and said something to Tsuzuku with a serious expression and threw him against the wall behind him, walking off. I ran back in and continued packing, pretending like I didn't see anything.

They came back in and I announced that I was done. We all parted our ways and I was left alone with Tsuzuku. He led me to his spare room. "You'll be sleeping here for now. Any questions?" He asked. I was hesitant to ask, but I felt that I had to know. "Just one. Why did you want me to move in with you?" He sat on the bed and let out a sigh "Truth is I used to live like you. In that kind of area. I didn't notice at first, but it was toxic. It's one of the reasons I'm the monster I am today... That's why I don't want you there, ever. Not even near it." "I never knew... I always thought..." I felt guilty for my behavior. "I want to know more about you, Tsuzuku-san." I requested. He smiled. I had never seen him smile at me. He brushed my hair through his slender fingers. "You will. One day. But that's all for now." And he left, just like that.
