Alex's POV
BEEP!! BEEP!!
FUCK MAN!!!
To say I hate my alarm would be an understatement, don't get me wrong I love my job I do but I hate waking up early.
I hit the OFF button on my alarm and head to my closet to get today's clothes ready. When I get my pink scrubs I go to my bathroom and take a nice relaxing shower. I've always loved showers it gives me time to think and I love water it's like a medicine to me always makes me feel better.
I shut the shower off and dry myself, I do this quietly because I don't want Jules waking up, she always gets cranky when she wakes up early I still haven't told her that she was going to meet one direction today.
Once I'm done with my hair and makeup I head to my bed and see the small 12 year old softly snoring. Ever since we ran away Jules has been like my daughter I would give my life for and I try my best to give her what she wants, but like always it's not a much to give considering we're on a budget.
I silently shake her so she can wake up for today. "Hey Jules wake up you're going to work with me today I want you to meet one of my patients" "ugh I don't wanna wake up what time is it anyway?" I smile at her she was so stubborn she absolutely hated mornings. "It's barely 5:30 Jules come on you're gonna love this guy you don't even have to get dressed come on" "ok let's go, can I take Benny pretty please?" "Sure why not" "yay ok hold up I'm gonna go change ok "
I nod and she takes off to her room. Benny was her stuffed bear she loved him she took him everywhere she may be 12 but she doesn't have a phone so she's different from other per teens, I'm pretty glad though I won't have to worry about a boy crazy teenager.
"Hey Alex I'm ready!!" "Ok let's go" she grabs my hand as we leave our little apartment and head to my car, it's pretty cold out today, kinda foggy other than that it's a really beautiful day.
"So Alex who did you want me to meet today?" Jules ask with curiosity. "That dear is a surprise but I promise you're gonna love him he's super nice" I say looking from her to the road. She gives off a little huff and slumps in her seat she was never really one to push things which I was quite grateful for. I turn on the radio and daylight by Maroon 5 is playing I love this song an me and Jules softly sing along

"Alex you're voice is really pretty" "thanks Jules" "you should go on one of those singing shows and if you win you can be famous and well get a bigger house" "maybe someday ok I promise"
Nialls POV
damn when is she gonna get here I've been waiting an hour now I guess her shift starts at six.
I asked the boys if they were ok with meeting her little sister I was super happy when they agreed I haven't like a girl since before xfactor and I think it's safe for me to say that the accident that put me in here was amazingly ok to me because I met Alex. I kept checking the clock it was only 15 minutes before she comes or so I thought. I saw her holding a little girls hand out in the hallway " hey Liz I'm a little early this morning. Traffic was a breeze" she spoke quietly "oh Alex well it's ok I see you brought Jules" Liz said waving at the little girl clutching on the Alex's arm "yea I hope you don't mind" she said "not at all bye" she said waving at the two while waking away
She walked into my room covering the little girls eyes with a big smile on her face, god that smile she had perfectly white teeth and it was so bright I just smiled back at her "aww come on Alex why do you have to cover my eyes who is it?" "I'll tell you if you promise not to scream or cry" "ok I promise now let me see" she uncovered her eyes and she looked at me in shock "niall this is Jules, Jules this is niall my patient" " WHAT THE HECK ALEX WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT YOU'RE TAKING CARE OF NIALL HORAN? OMG IM SUCH A BIG FAN NIALL IS ZAYN HERE TOO?" I laughed this little girl was hilarious
"Yea there in the cafeteria though they should be finished by now it's really nice to meet you Jules" "awww you to niall can I hug you please?" "Sure give me a cuddle" she squealed and ran to me "hey Jules you wanna meet the other boys?" Alex ask her sister "Sure" she replied excited. Alex left the room and came back with the nurse from before "Jules, Liz here is gonna take you to meet the other boys ok" she said referring to the nurse "ok bye niall see you later" Jules said giving me a kiss on the cheek " bye Jules it was nice to meet you" I shouted after her
Once they were out of the room and looked at Alex "so your sister is really nice" I spoke, breaking the silence "yea that was really nice of you niall thank you she said fixing my uncombed hair. I smiled I always loved when girls played with my hair. I looked into her eyes they were a mix of liam and zayn brown with a little bit of gold I loved her eyes without even thinking I blurted out the one sentence that can make me or break me "Alex when I'm out of here would you like to go out sometime?" She stopped playing with my hair and just stared at me with absolutely no emotion on her face I'm pretty sure she was gonna say no she looked like she was trying to find a nice way to let me down "look Alex I'm sorry I wasn't thinking you don't have to say yes god I'm such an idiot I'm do so-" my eyes widened did t expect her to kiss me it was just a small peck but it was wow. "I'd love to niall, here"she said handing me her phone signaling she wanted my number I grabbed it with a smile on my face and gave it back once I was done typing "why did you say yes?" I asked "why wouldn't I?" She said looking confused, I just shrugged not knowing what to say "well I guess we have a date then huh?" She said a hint of a smile on her lips. " I guess we do then" I told her as soon as Julie came in holding Zayn's hand. "Alex meet my boyfriend" Julie said swinging their linked hand Zayn's face was priceless as the words left her mouth "Jules he has a girlfriend, I'm so sorry" Alex said trying not to laugh "it's cool I love my fans" Zayn said rubbing the back of his neck "well I better go check on my other patients is it cool if I leave Jules here?" Alex asked "it's cool with me I told her am then she waved and left.
Well I guess I have a date then
