Chapter 17.

[Chapter 17: Shadow's Human form.]

Lauren's pov~

It's been a few days since Shadow has gotta her own body. She's gotta her memory back, And I've gotten used to not having her inside me.

She's really pale, has brown hair, but she has red eyes. And the white in her eyes are a smokey gray. She doesn't seem the same... she's real clingy...

"Lauren... I can't find the thing..." Shadow said, pointing at the pile of junk in the corner of the room. "Yeah. It's somewhere UNDER the pile." I said, pointing at the same pile. She made a slight 'ohhh' sound, before going and looking through it. She's.... Not dumb, but forgetful. She's not the brightest one right now. But she'll come around soon. Well Thats what Nightmare says.

"Come on Shadow, get in bed. We got a long day tomorrow." I said, patting in the bed for Shadow to get in bed. "Alright. I am not wanting to go to school anyway. But I guess I will." Shadow said, hopping in bed next to me. "Please don't push me off the bed this time." I said, getting under the cover. "I'll try not too." She said, winking as she spoke.

[Time Skip]

Shadow's POV~

I woke up, to see Lauren in the floor again. She's not awake yet... I climbed over her, carefully not wanting to wake her up. I picked her up carefully, and set her on the bed. I walked over to the trapdoor, and saw a note. It read: 'Yo Girls, the night guard is dead, Thanks to my awesome slaying skills!

~Bonnie.' I rolled my eyes reading the last part, but smiled. "You wish Bonnie.." I mumbled, climbing out of the trap door, and walking towards the bathrooms. I had my bath stuff and clothes already in there from last night, just so I can get in and get out real quick.

I finished wrapping up my hair in a towel, and sighed. I had cut myself trying to shave my legs. And more then once too!! I cut my right knee and left knees twice. The pain still stung like crazy. "Now I see why Lauren uses shaving cream..." I mumbled under my breath.

I was already dressed in a blood red sleeveless shirt, long black pants, red running shoes, and some red bracelets the same color as my shirt. I couldn't really do anything to my eyes, but I could fix my hair. I took the towel down, letting my hair flow free. I brushed my hair til all the tangles were out. And by then my hair was dry. I picked up a comb, and began running it through my hair, while having a Hollywood Undead song being played.

My hair flopped over my right eye, basically covering it. "Great... I look emo now..." I said, just leaving it be. "I'm gonna be know as the new emo girl at school huh?" I mumbled, walking out of the bathroom to get my bag. I passed by Lauren seeing her in a pink sweater type shirt, light blue jeans, her normal black tunning shoes, and for some odd reason she had on a pair of cyan earrings. She turned, running back to me. "Shadow! I forgot to give you these!" I turned around, meeting her gaze. "Here!" She said, placing something in my hands. It was a pair of dark red earrings. "Thanks Lauren." I said. "No problem. Want me to put them in for you?" Lauren asked. "Sure. I don't know how to put them in anyway." I said, giving them back to her. "Okay, this may hurt a bit at first..." She trailed off, putting them in for me.

[Time Skip]

"Okay Lauren. I want you to watch over Shadow, and make sure she doesn't get in so any trouble. Okay?" Mrs. Mangle asked, before she left. "Yes Ma'am. I will." Lauren said nodding. "Be good girls. Bye!" Mrs. Mangle said, before pulling out of the parking lot and driving home.

"Alright Shadow. We got a long day ahead of us..."
