Chapter 21.

[Chapter 21: Blindness.]

Shadow's pov~

As Lauren held me there. I soon began to drift off. It being pretty late. I just went with it. Before I completely fell asleep. I heard her whisper quietly. "Good night Shadow.  Sweet dreams."

The last words of her sentence was blurred as I fell asleep. I would assume, Lauren would soon move. But. I felt a warm presences lay down beside me.

It felt nice. No empty blackness. No coldness. No negative activates. No nothingness.

[Time skip]

I awoke to blackness. 'Oh really?' I thought.

Lauren, Or who I assumed was Lauren rolled over on her side, having her back to the wall. She wrapped her arms around me. Like I was her pillow. Since Lauren would normally cuddle up to a pillow, I'm her pillow? What time even is it? I twitched at random which woke up Lauren.

She groaned shakin her head, and laying her head down on my shoulder. 'This is weird...' I thought, trying my best not to twitch. And low and behold. I twitched again.

Lauren, Being awoken my me again. She sat up, rubbing her eyes and staring off around the room. "L-Lauren? Did I wake you?" I asked, sitting up as well.

"Nah, you're fine Shadow. I had some problems sleeping." She said chuckling lightly. "O-oh. Alright then..." I trailed off, rubbing and opening my eyes as well.

And as soon as I opened my eyes, I felt chills run down my spine. Why is it so cold in here? "Sh-Shadow? Wh-what happened to your e-eyes?!" Lauren exclaimed rather shocked. "Wh-what do you mean?" I asked.

Lauren rubbed my by the face, pulling me closer to her. "Your eyes... There black. Pitch black!" I twitched roughly as Lauren let go of me. "I-I don't understand. Why'd this happened?"

I felt Lauren shift to the side as she sighed. "Maybe with was result of us slipping? Think about it! Our vision was fine. Other then the fact that we couldn't see very well in our Animatronic form. Don't you remember that?"  Now that Lauren mentions that... I do! "Your right. But. This still doesn't make sense."

"What doesn't?" That voice... Dang you blind eyes! "Oh hey May. Shadow has a problem on her hands." Lauren said. "More like eyes..." I sighed.

"Oh, What's wrong?" I felt May shift from the latch/trapdoor into the room down below. "I can't see. I think, I'm blind." I said lookin up to her. Or at least seeming too.

"O-oh." That's the first time I've heard May stutter. Odd. "Well if that's the case. What do we do about it? We got school in less then an hour." May said moving aside and picking up something. Some sort of bag. Why am I only able to see the outline of something? Or even someone?!

"Do you think we'll have to tell Mom about this?" Lauren asked looking at May who nodded. "Indeed. Mom will have to let her know about this.". "About what?" Another voice spoke up.

"Jen, Shadow can't see properly. Have you not been listening from the bathroom?" May asked turning her head towards the bathroom door. "Uh no. I had the hair dryer on. My hair isn't gonna dry and fix itself!" Jen said walking over towards us.

"And dear sister. Aren't you gonna fix your hair?"

Lauren shook her head no saying. "What are you talking about? I already fixed my hair!"
Jen scoffed, as she exclaimed. "Lauren. Your hair is a mess!"
Lauren shrugged it off. "So? Its my nature hair. I let it fix itself~"

Lauren being the more shy, yet sassier of the girls. She had no problem dishing out blunt or Childish comments or replies.
This being more childish and lazy. Oh the Lauren we know the hat- I mean Love!
