Chapter 19.

[Chapter 19: The Phoenix~! ]

Lauren's POV

As soon as we got home, Shadow had gotten out of the car with the rest of them, with me following closely behind them. But... As soon as I got inside. Me and Shadow were pulled aside into Mrs. Mangle's office, if you would call it that. "Girls... We have a slight problem with you both having split forms." Mrs. Mangle had said stepping in front of us both letting us both go from her wire-like arms that dragged us in here.

"Mom..." She looked a little shocked at me calling her 'Mom' (About Time... XD) "I was wonder what we were going to do about that..." I looked over at Shadow who was grabbing onto my arm. "Uh... W-well..." Mangle couldn't seem to find the right words until. "Ah! I remember! Lauren. We may have to let have Shadow here, have your current Animatronic form. If that is fine with you." She said looked over at me. I then nodded and said. "That is completely fine! But... What are we gonna do about me?" I tilted my head in a confused manner, and looked over at Shadow then back Mangle. "Well, I was thinking... Maybe we could get you a new and different Animatronic form? Or! We could go see how Kenworth is doing!" Wait who the heck is Kenworth?! "Wait who?" Shadow spoke up for once standing up a little straighter. "Oh... Crap... He is an Animatronic here that had kind got damaged and needed to be repaired. Well, that was before the others came along. He's... Like a brother to you? I guess you could say that..." Mangle tapped her chin before walking towards the door telling us to follow her. Me and Shadow both nodded and followed closely behind Mangle, until she stopped at a closed door.

I could hear faint singing coming from a male voice.

"Wearing our vintage misery. No, I thinked it looked a little better on me! I'm gonna change you, like a remix. And I'll raise you, like a phoenix!" I recognized that song from somewhere... But where, is the real question.

Shadow nudged and I looked over at her, who was holding her phone up with YouTube on it. The song 'The Phoenix' By Fall Out Boy was what Shadow was pointing at with her thumb.

It then came to me... That is what he was singing! Shadow Nodded and put her phone back into her pocket.

Mangle knocked on the door, and we heard a 'thub' As is someone just fell. "Ma'am?" The male voice asked as I heard footsteps draw near to the door. "How are you? Ya feeling better?" Mangle asked.

"Yeah. My wings are better now. But... When can I come out, or go back to school?" The male voice asked as I heard the doorknob shake. "Well, I'd like you to come out and meet some of our new Animatronic Hybrids." Mangle said.

"R-really?!" The voice sounded shooked and excited at the same time as the door swung open, revealing a pale skinned boy, That was about my age.

He has blonde hair that went down to his shoulders in back and a few strands of his hair that went over his ears, and a little over left eye. That were Crystal blue/Cyan.

He wore a hoodie the same color of his eyes, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of light blue converse.

He also had red flame like textures going up his sleeves and hoodie from the bottom ends.

The back of his hair had the same red flames like he had dyed it, along with the strand over his ear, and over his eye.

"Yes. This is Lauren." Mangle put a hand on my head. "And Shadow." Then on Shadow's head. "H-hey." Shadow said. "Hi." I said waving. "Girls. This is Kenny." Mangle said pointing at the boy. "A pleasure to meet you both!" He said smiling and shaking both mine and Shadow's hands at the same time.

"Alright. So... Kenny, do you feel ready to get right back into action?" Kenny nodded and Mangle looking over at me. "Lauren, You'll stay in your room tonight, Okay?" She ruffled my hair and walked off, with us following behind her.

"So you guys are both Animatronic's?" Kenny asked. Shadow nodded but I shook my head no. "Shadow here is, but I'm not." I said. "Then why aren't you one?" Kenny looked over at me, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Well... That's a long story, to be honest. We were once together in the same body. Until Shadow found her own. The Animatronic form Shadow has, is the one we shared which was originally mine." I explained smiling at how close we were. "But now we can read each others minds!" Shadow exclaimed hopping onto my shoulders. "R-really? That's amazing! Must have been weird to have two people in one body, huh?" Kenny chuckled at Shadow and poked her. "Ayy! No poking me!" Shadow said clawing at his hand, missing it roughly. "Hehe. Ticklish, ay?" Kenny chuckled more and poked Shadow's side again. "Ya'know... Let's change the subject. Kenny, What is your Animatronic form?" I asked looking over at him.

"Well... I am a Phoenix Animatronic. My wing got damaged when on my last round a few weeks ago. My arm was so sore I couldn't do anything. Do Angle home schooled me on what was going on in school, and I guess I'm going back to school tomorrow. What's Shadow's Animatronic form?" Kenny had asked pointing at Shadow who was sitting on my shoulders.

"Oh. I'm a Hedgehog Animatronic. I like the design to be honest." Shadow said. Kenny nodded and we walked into the main stage room. "Hey Kenworth!" Some of the others said waving.

Toy Freddy tapped his mic and said. "Kenworth is back in action, people!"
