Chapter 12

Daeun's POV

I walked as fast as i could because i was excited seeing DAY6 again and of course Hae yi.

I pressed 6 in the elevator and because i was alone, i started squealing all by myself and sang ' Congratulations ' like crazy. Until the door open and i turn behind to see some people that was waiting for the elevator, staring at me. I was embarassed and i quickly ran out.

Before i knocked the door, i took out mirror and check on my makeup and see if my hair was messy. I fix my dress and knocked the door lightly.

I heard someone said from inside " Maknae go open the door "

I got greeted by dowoon at the door and i whisper to him " Getting bullied by your hyungs huh ? "

He nodded and i laugh.

I came in and bow at all 6 of them.

" Annyeonghasaeyo "

They bow back and said hello too.

" Eh where is Hae yi ? " I ask sungjin.

" Not sure either. I think shes at the rooftop " He replied.

I didn't thought much about why was she at the rooftop but i just went up.

I wanted to surprise Hae yi and i stood behind the door and softly count to myself " 1 , 2 , 3 "

I jump infront of the door and my mouth wide open but nothing came out . I stood there, mouth wide open and silent. I saw the back view of Hae yi and... i couldn't see who was the guy beside her but i guess it was Jae because his slender back gave it away and plus i didn't saw him in the dorm.

Hae yi was leaning her head on his chest and Jae was holding her tightly while stroking her hair softly.
It was like a drama scene that i've watched, guy and girl on the rooftop, hugging.

I close my wide open mouth and turn away. My eyes became teary.

" Daeun, i thought u went to find Hae yi ? " Junhyeok ask me when i enter the kitchen to seat. The rest of the members were in their own room.

" Yes i did... "

" What's wrong ? You sound upset " He drag out the chair beside me and sat down.

I started tearing and didn't replied him. He froze because he didn't know what to do. But he put one of his hands over my shoulder and pated me.

Hae yi's POV

" Thanks for accompanying here , under the cold " I wipe my puffy red eyes.

" I will accompany you whenever you want alright ? " Jae smile at me.

" We better get going, it's dinner time. " I look at my watch, totally forgetting that Daeun was coming over.

I open the door of the dorm and walk in with Jae. It was the most awkward moment ever because all of them were staring at both of us, including Daeun.

" Ooh Hyung ! Where have you been ? With Hae yi. " Wonpil smirked.

" Shut up, nowhere " Jae enter the dorm and straight go into his room.

Wonpil look at me, still smirking and i shake my head giving him the ' We didn't do anything ' shake.

I sat beside Daeun and apologise to her.

" Where did you go ? " Daeun asked me, with a serious face.

" Er.er.. "

Should i tell her that i was at the rooftop with Jae ? But i don't wanna lie to her.

" Rooftop.. I was at the rooftop " I replied her.

" And what were you doing at the rooftop ? " She raised an eyebrow, still maintaining that serious face.

I stood up and drag her into my room. She struggled but gave up after. I shut the room of my door and sat on my bed with her.

" Why did you bring me into your room. We can talk outside " She slighty shouted and folded her arms.

" What is wrong with you Daeun ? " I sat beside her.

" Why do you keep doing this to me Hae yi ? WHY ? " She started tearing up. I was flustered because i didn't know why was she acting this way.

" What did i do ?? " I asked her feeling so confuse.

By any chance.. Did she saw me with Jae...

I started thinking of why was she acting this way and she suddenly ask
" DO YOU LIKE JAE ? "

" Wha..what are you talking about ? NO i don't "

Maybe.. Yes..

" Then what were you two doing on the rooftop ?? HUGGING ? "

Daeun saw us.. Should i just tell her the truth..

" I- I .. I'm sorry daeun i.. My parents passed away. " Tears started falling again.

Daeun was stunned and speechless. She quickly hug me tightly and cried too. " I'm so sorry Hae yi .. I'm sorry "

We both hug and cried together.
