Chapter 29

Jae's POV

After dinner, i went into the room and lie on the bed while the rest were busy having fun outside.

During dinner when Hae yi ask me that question, i didn't want to answer her. So i end up answering " Nothing "

I feel so depressed that Hae yi forgets me and i blame myself for not protecting Hae yi well as a boyfriend. Tears start to welled up in my eyes again with the thoughts of that.

Knock knock

" Come in " I quickly sat up and wipe my wet eyes.

" Hey Jae " Daeun came in and sat beside me.

" Hey " I replied without giving any eye contact.

" Jae, i know you are not alright. "

I held in my tears. I didn't want to cry infront of Daeun.

" I really do not know what to do. " I almost choke my words because i was trying to control my tears.

" Instead of ignoring and giving the cold shoulder, why not try spending more time with her and make her remember you ? "

I thought about this a few times but will it work?..

" Just do it, Jae " She said to me before leaving the room.

Maybe i should try..

" Good morning, i sat beside Hae yi on the dining table. Why are you up so early? "

" To go out with Yaeri and sungjin " She Smiled and continue eating.

" To where ? " I was abit upset that sungjin didn't tell me anything.

" To the beach " She didn't look at me.

" Can i follow ? " She nodded.

The rest of the members join in as we were chatting.

Hae yi's POV

We had eggs for breakfast and it's super delicious.

" Hae yi " I turn to look at Jae that was laughing at me.

" What? " I look at my shirt to see if there is anything on it.

Suddenly, he lean in and use his thumb to wipe the ketchup off my mouth.

" Eat properly "

I froze there and in my head, a flashback of something appeared.

* Flashback *

Jae who was sitting beside me was busy laughing at me. Just then he lean in towards me and use his long thumb to wipe the ketchup sauce off my mouth.

My face was chubby because of the eggs that i stuff and i was looking at him with a stunned look when he wipe that ketchup off my mouth.

Thump thump... My heart started beating fast.

I blinked and continued staring at him.

" Hello Hae yi! Stop daydreaming " Jae waved one of his hands infront of my face and i stop all my thoughts.

" Thank you " I awkwardly laugh and continued eating.

That flashback.. Have he done it to me before?

Jae's POV

Me, Sungjin and Hae yi hop onto the van and went off to meet Yaeri.
Daeun didn't followed because she was busy dating.. How envious.

We played a few rounds of volleyball. I was team with Yaeri while Sungjin is team with Hae yi. I notice Hae yi kept on laughing with Sungjin and even once, Hae yi fell and sungjin hold her waist.

Jealousy kept building up but i can't do anything.

" Let's go cycling ! " Sungjin suggested after our volleyball game.

We rented those two seater bicycle. This time i was seated with Hae yi in one bike, Yaeri and sungjin in another bike.

" Hold tight " Sungjin said to Yaeri before speeding up. Yaeri grab onto his waist and hug tightly.

Me and Hae yi were a little awkward.

" Hold tight Hae yi " I feel hae yi slowly grabbing my waist. My heart beat became faster. That girl still don't fail to make my heart race.

" Today is such a great day ! Thank you guys ! " Hae yi said to us. I feel happy that shes happy now.

After we head back to the dorm, it was already midnight and Hae yi went straight to her room to sleep.

I was preparing for bed when suddenly sungjin called out.

" DAY6 gather "

" Urgg " I let out a groan and went out.

All 6 of us gathered with our manager.

" Okay guys.. This is really important " Our manager started speaking. I wasn't really paying attention because my thoughts were diverted to Hae yi instead.
