Chapter 20

Hae yi's POV

I followed sungjin into his room, shutting the door behind me. I awkwardly sat on his bed and he sat beside me.

" Erm.. " Sungjin breaking the silence. It was a very awkward atmosphere.

" I have something to tell you.. " Sungjin continued.

I nodded, wanting to hear what he wanted to say.

" I.. I.. Like you " He said looking down while playing with his fingers.

" About that Sungjin.. " I replied and he look up at me.

" I'm sorry, i don't want to hurt you. You are such a nice guy and i do like you too. " His expression was half happy half confused.

" But i like jae more.. " He stared at me, i could see sadness in his eyes. We were slience for a moment.

" I respect your decision " He smiled. He stood up and grab some papers from his desk.

" Here you go Hae yi ! This is for you! "

I look at the paper and it's a song sheet. It's titled " Her beautiful smile "

" This song was actually written for you " He smiled.

Oh so the " her " was me...

" Thanks sungjin ! You don't have to. "

" It's okay "

I went out of his room and back to mine.

Sungjin's POV

I wanted to confess my feelings to Hae yi. It's at a wrong timing but i really want to tell Hae yi how i really feel.

" I'm sorry, i don't want to hurt you. You are such a nice guy and i do like you too. " I felt happy and confuse. Happy that i know she likes me too but confuse because why is she apologising.

" But i like Jae more.. " I turn to look at her, eyes filled with sadness. My heart was aching. The heart ache was like someone stabbing my heart with million of needles.

For the moment of slience we had. Lots of things were running through my mind.

Should i just continue to woo her ? Should i give up ? What should i do ?

I end up respecting her decision and passed her the song sheet . She was the reason why i wrote that song.

Hae yi's POV

I went back my room and felt really gulity that i kind of rejected Sungjin.

" So how did it go ? " Daeun asked.

" He confessed to me.. and i told him "

" How did he react ? "

" He was silent and i could see he was sad. But he said he respect me decision " I replied feeling gulity.

" He'll understand. So how you are going to confesse to Jae ? "

" What ? No i am not going to confess to him " I look away with embarassment.

I notice that Daeun clothes were all over the bed and her luggage was out.

" Where are you going ?

" Home " She replied and continue packing.

" Everything is reslove ? "

She nodded and smile.

I woke up on my empty bed and it feels weird without Daeun beside me.

I didn't have school today so i woke up abit later. I went to bath and change into a black shirt with sweat pants.

" Good morning " I went out and as usual got greeted by 6 boys in the kitchen having their breakfast.

" We are going picnic today ! Wanna tag along ? Daeun is coming too " Junhyeok said as he blush.

Aish that kid and Daeun. How cute !

" Sure " I sat down and ate with them. Me and Jae was incharge of packing the kimbap and the rest were in the room packing the necessary stuff. We both stand behind the kitchen counter. He was standing beside me, making me look like a dwarf because his like 2 heads taller than me.

" Go get the soya sauce " Jae said while he was cutting the ingredients.

I open the top cabinet and it was place deep inside. I tip toe and strech my hands as far as i could but i couldn't reach.

Suddenly, i felt someones body touching onto mine. And it's Jae chest leaning onto my back and he reach out his hands to take the soya sauce.

I was blushing so much when he did that.

" Aish, you are too short to reach for the soya sauce " He jokingly said. I hit him on his chest " Ya " and pretended to be angry.

" How do you roll this thing urg " I mumble to myself while trying to roll a kimbap

I felt a pair of hand coming from behind my waist. He was backhugging me.....
