As a child,
I would run and reach the back of my house
From where I could see the never ending oceans,
And the calm waves
And the view would sweep me off my feet.
Today as I kiss him on the very same sand I spent years collection sea shells,
I feel the water embrace my legs as if saying
I'll always be the 1st even if he's your goddamm forever.
