Joe's POV
It was Wednesday and I was sat on my sofa, editing a main channel video, a prank I pulled on Caspar! When I realised that my girlfriend Megan had left her phone here. I decided to just let it be but then it buzzed, I read who had texted her and it was a guy called Caspar with loads of heart emojis beside his name, I thought it was too much of a coincidence to be my roommate, but I decided to look at their messages to see what was going on...
Caspar-hey babes u doing anything today? Wanna get lunch? Xx
Megan-I'm seeing Joe today so maybe another time? Sorry xx
Caspar-it's cool I need to edit a video anyway xx
Megan-ok how about Saturday? Xx
Caspar-Saturday is good, 1pm? Xx
Megan-yea great where at? Xx
Caspar-how about Marks and Spencer's so u can shop there too? Xx
Megan-omg yea! Good idea ok I'll see u there xx
Caspar-can't wait to see u xx
Megan-me too love u xx
Caspar-love u too xx
I cannot believe what I'm reading! Megan is cheating on me! It's already really bad but if it's Caspar (my roommate) it'll make it 10 times worse.
*Megan walks into the living room of mine and Caspar's house*
"Hey Joe! I forgot my phone! Haha," laughed Megan,"I'll be on my way again!"
"Um Megan..." I stopped myself there, I thought that it might not be Caspar my roommate but I thought up the plan, to go to Marks and Spencer's an hour earlier, on Saturday, and wait to see who Megan is meeting up with. I admit I feel heartbroken but it would be worse if she was cheating on me with my roommate.
"Yeah?" Megan asked turning around.
"Um, I love you," I said quickly and nervously.
"Love you too!" Megan replied and walked out the door. I wondered,'Do you actually love me though?'
"See you later." I said, still editing my video. On Megan's messages "Caspar" says he needs to edit a video. No this can't be. This just makes it 10 times worse. I'm still hoping that it's not my roommate but it's leaning towards it.
I feel like my plan is genius but I am still really heartbroken and I can't show that I'm sad in front of Caspar (my roommate) it'll be too suspicious. I'm still going along with this plan but I just don't know if I can cope seeing Megan with this "Caspar" guy.
