Joe's POV
I woke up at 9:30am, I'm really worried about today. Do I have to say anything? I don't know. Okay, I'm leaving now,"Bye Marcus! Thanks again for letting me stay here!" I said as I went out the door.
"Bye Joe! Anytime!" Marcus said.
It was a twenty minute drive to The Local Coffee Shop. I parked the car and started walking towards the coffee shop. I saw Caspar sitting there. I sat down at the table that he was sitting at.
"Hi Joe. Um I'm really really sorry." Caspar said.
"I don't know what to say to you. Let's go back to our house and talk this out." I suggested.
"Ok." Caspar agreed.
We arrived at our house. I sat down on the sofa. Caspar sat on the armchair. "What have you got to say then?" I asked him.
"I'm so so sorry. I really am. Can we work something out?" Caspar asked me.
"What's to work out? You stole my girlfriend, you move out. Simple." I said.
"But Joe, I want us to be best friends again." Caspar said sadly.
"If you wanted us to be friends you wouldn't have been with Megan." I said.
"What do I do then?" Caspar asked.
"If you really want us to be friends, then you'll break up with Megan. I don't think I can forgive you any other way. I mean, I'm happy that you've found someone to love and any other girl would be fine but it's just the fact that you had to love my girlfriend," I explained.
*Caspar sighs* "I'm so sorry Joe, I wasn't thinking straight. But I don't want to break up with her. I love her."
"Well then I guess you want to be with her more than you want to be with me." I said sadly.
"That's not true!" Caspar said.
"Then please break up with her, I don't want our friendship gone either and I would happily let you stay with any other girl. But you're going to have to choose, me or her?" I asked Caspar.
"Oh. Um." Caspar said not being able to make up his mind.
"Is this decision really that hard?" I asked.
"Yeah. It is... I'm going to choose you. I can't give up this friendship." Caspar said,"but it's going to be really hard not seeing Megan."
"Thank you so much! I know it's going to be hard and I don't want you to be sad but you hurt me real bad," I told him.
"I'm sorry, I really am." Caspar replied.
"Can we start over?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course." Caspar replied.
"I'll order a dominoes, yeah?" I suggested. "And we can play Xbox together?"
"Yeah pleease!" Caspar said happily, at the thought of pizza.
Caspar's POV
Joe and I are best friends again, but to be friends I have to break up with Megan. This is going to be hard. I bring out my phone and text her.
Me-Hi Megan. Me and Joe are best friends again but this means I have to break up with you. I'm sorry, I love you
Megan-Is this a prank??
Me-I wish it was. I'm not playing around
Megan-omg ur deadly serious aren't u?
Me-yeah I'm so so sorry
Megan-ring me. I have a plan! Joe will never find out
Me-um okay?
*I ring Megan*
"Hey," I said,"what's your plan?" Megan explained the plan to me.
"But won't that hurt Joe?"
Megan said,"No because he'll never find out."
