Caspar's Text-Part 4

Caspar's POV

I am shocked! I feel really guilty now! Joe, I'm so so sorry. I don't know what to say.

I went back to our house and Joe wasn't there. I wanted to apologise to him, but honestly, I don't think an apology can fix this. I really hope he doesn't hold a grudge on me. I wanted Joe to be there, in his room, so we could talk it out but I can see that he doesn't want to talk.

Tonight is going to be one sleepless night. Tomorrow I'm packing my stuff and leaving, but I don't know where I'll go. I better look for an apartment now.

It's an hour later and I found one, it's not much but it'll do, it's a very small apartment with only a bedroom and a kitchen but it's all I can afford right now. Megan offered for me to stay at her house but I don't want to see her right now.

Joe's POV

I went back home to pack a bag, I'm going to stay at Marcus' house for a while. I hope Caspar is feeling really guilty. He's ruined our friendship and I don't know if I can deal with this. I'm really sad that our friendship isn't there at the minute. I left the house and this time I didn't leave Caspar a note. I also texted Marcus that I was on my way.

I arrived at Marcus' house. I rang the doorbell.

"Hey Joe!" Marcus said opening the door.

"Hey, thanks for letting me stay here." I said wiping my shoes on the mat.

"Course man!" Marcus said,"what do you want for dinner?"

"Anything, I don't mind." I said.

"Okay, lasagne?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"Okay, should be around half an hour all right?" Marcus said bringing the lasagne out of the fridge.

"Yeah that's okay, you got any ice cream?" I asked.

"Yeah just in the freezer, help yourself." Marcus said pointing to the freezer.

"Thanks," I said choosing a chocolate ice cream.

"Do you want to watch a movie after dinner? A comedy?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah that'll cheer me up." I agreed,"Step Brothers or Grown ups?"

"Let's go with both shall we?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah why not?" I said.

"Joe! Lasagne's ready!" Marcus shouted to me from the kitchen. "Do you want to eat it in the living room while watching the movies?"

"Yeah!" I said.

We started watching Step Brothers when Caspar texted me,'Joe I'm so so so sorry please let me talk to you in person. Meet me at The Local Coffee Shop at 11am tomorrow and if you don't come then I know that I can't fix this. I just want us to be friends again. I'm sorry.'

"Marcus, read this. What should I do?" I showed Marcus the text from Caspar.

"Mate, I think you should go. You know? Hear him out?" Marcus said.

"I don't know, he's hurt me so much." I said.

"Whatever you decide to do I'll support you on it, okay?" Marcus said.

After some thought I said,"Thanks. I think I'll go see him tomorrow, I don't know what I'm going to say to him though."

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure it'll be fine!" Marcus said reassuring me.

"Thanks!" I said.

We finished watching the movies, they were absolutely hilarious! Then I went to sleep on the sofa, I have a big day tomorrow.
