Once we got home everyone was exhausted. I was on my way to my room so I could go to bed, until I stopped at Kian's door. Maybe I should ask him about why he never said anything to the guys about mom. Maybe I shouldn't... Maybe he's mad at me too and not over it, just like everyone else in the family. Maybe I should make sure everything's ok. Before I knew it, I was knocking on his door.
"It's open." He yelled through the door. I slowly opened the door, unsure of what I was going to say. "What's up Jules?" He asked. "Nothing, just wanted to talk to you about something." I said. "If this is about boys or periods, then I don't want to hear it." He said jokingly. I just rolled my eyes. "No I wanted to talk about mom." I said. The mood in the room changed instantly, from happy and goofy, to serious and unsure. I know that this is a touchy topic, but I think there are things that need to be said. "What about her?" He said. He seemed as if he was about to cry or something because he wouldn't make eye contact. "I mentioned something about her to the guys when they were asking about dance. They had no clue that she's gone. Why didn't you tell them?" I asked. "I don't know... There's no reason why I should." He said. "I mean there kind of is a reason why you should... You kind of live with them." I said. He looks pissed off right now. "Why do you give a fuck anyway?" He asked angrily. "Why are you so mad right now? I just asked you a question." I replied. "Answer the damn question." He demanded. "Because you're my brother. I care about you." I said. "If you care so much than please just leave me alone and don't ask about mom again." He said. " I just wanted to make sure everything was ok. And obviously it's not ok." I said. "Oh my god. Just leave me alone. I don't want to talk about it... That doesn't mean something's wrong." He yelled. "You need to calm down. All I did was ask you one simple question. If you're that sensitive about this, then I thought I might be able to help you." I explained. "Help me with what? This is so stupid! Who do you think you are, Dr. Phil or some shit? Get the fuck out of my room." He screamed at me. "Please just calm down. Why are you getting so angry?" I asked. "I'm mad because you fucking killed her, so get the fuck out of my room!" He yelled.
My whole face just dropped. What did he just say? Kian thinks I killed her too, just like dad. I can tell that he instantly regretted saying that. He started walking over to me. I just flinched and ran away. When I opened the door to leave, everyone was crowded around it. They were all staring at me as I cried and ran to my room. I slammed my door and locked it. I fell on my bed and started to sob. Did I kill her? Is it my fault? Why does my whole family hate me? Questions like this ran through my mind. Maybe it was my fault. Maybe I should feel the pain that she felt. I walked into my bathroom and locked the door. Now there are two locked doors separating me from the world. I grabbed my razor and thought about what I was about to do for a while. I heard banging on my door and that's when I made my decision...
