                                                                Chapter 3: Air

"Dev-un?"

"Yes its Devyn but pronounced like Devin," the teacher looked at the girl who had just spoke. Readjusting her glasses the teacher looked back at her clipboard. 

   "Zack?" Devi seemed to mind being ignored by the sub, she got it all the time. 

 But that's a boy name 

I thought you were a boy

  Devi sat there wondering when the bell would ring. It was the middle of the school year and she couldn't wait for spring break. There were also cheer leading practice today. Devi groaned she didn't want to go to workouts. 

   "Hey Devi, are you going to the party on tonight?" It was Josh. One of the hottest boys in Devyn's school. She blushed, she thought about it for a second. Well, she could go right after work to the party.  

     "We'll see, Josh," he smirked and she glanced into his sea green colored eyes and looked away quickly. He chuckled behind her making Devi blush. There was something about Josh that made Devi get all tingly inside. Maybe it was the way he looked at her, or the way he went out his way to say good morning to her every day. It didn't matter to him if he was with his friends, the moment he saw Devyn make her way to school, he would go up to her and say hi. 

   Courtney caught a glance of the Devi blushing. Devi blushed even harder. Courtney was Devi's best friend, she was the cheerleading captain and she was beautiful. Strawberry blonde hair with light green eyes. A narrow small nose with full lips and high cheek bones, she was tall too. She had long legs and C cup breast, something Devi lacked in and it made her insecure. But Devi was even more beautiful than Courtney, she could just never see it. Devi was like 5'4, somewhat short but unlike Courtney she had a cute bubble butt. She had nice legs too, not too skinny like some girls. Devi didn't have long hair, her hair was cut short to her shoulder, it was a honey color blonde with baby blue eyes. She had chubby cheeks that gave Devi a innocent look, with full lips and a small upturn nose but it made her look beautiful. Courtney had to fill in her eyebrows, but Devi didn't she had dark eyebrows for some reason but it went good with her. Many would call Devi a fake blonde because of her eyebrows but little did they know the reason why they were dark was because when Devi was 11, Courtney convinced her to shave off her eyebrows and she did. It took forever for them to grow back but when they did they were darker than their original color. Courtney had always been jealous of Devi's good looks and the hourglass body she always dreamed of though Devi didn't seem to notice. To Devi Courtney was her best friend and she meant everything to Devi.

    Devi rushed to the bathroom, she really had to pee. She closed the stall door behind her and a couple of girls had walked into the bathroom and she stared at them while in the bathroom. They were doing their makeup.
