Carnival

"Uggh, Cam what do I wear?" You asked as you looked through your closet. Cameron wouldn't tell you where he was taking you for a date night.

"Just something casual," he snickered a little. "Like jeans and a t-shirt."

You grabbed exactly that and changed. Your makeup was a simple look, and you put your hair up in a ponytail.

"I'm ready," you sighed with a huge smile on your face.

He grabbed your hand and took you to the car. Once you were seated, he drove out of the driveway. He drove for a few miles, and pulled up to a crowded parking place. You couldn't tell what the parking lot was connected to.

"We're here!" Cameron said as he turned off the car.

"Where are we?" You asked confused.

"You'll see," he kissed you. "Just trust me."

You both got out of the car. Cameron lead the way, holding your hand the entire time.

After a few minutes of walking, you could tell where he was heading- the fair. Every year your town held a one week fair. There were tons of food, games, rides and music.

"Aww Cam!" You jumped a little. "This is so sweet!" You kissed him and continued walking towards the entrance.

Large crowds weren't your favorite, but you were more comfortable with Cameron there by your side.

When you got up to the table, Cameron bought two wrist bands. These allowed you to ride as many rides and play as many games as you liked.

"What do you want to do first?" Cameron asked as you walked into the fair.

"I don't care babe," you say and turn towards him.

"CAMERON! CAMERON!" A huge group of fans were screaming.

Cameron waved and you held on to his hand so you wouldn't get lost in the crowd.

"Hey guys hope you're having a good day!" he smiled and blew a kiss. He took a couple photos and turned towards you.

"Where do you want to go?" He asked. "Food? Games?"

"We can eat first," you said. "But Cameron, your fans are going to follow you everywhere."

"If they're real fans, they will let me go on a date with my girlfriend," He kissed you.

You went and got something to eat. You didn't get much because you wanted to get dessert later.

Then you went to the games. You and Cameron competed against each other and won small, cheap prizes. It was still fun though: listening to Cameron laugh, seeing him smile, watching him make funny faces. You were having so much fun.

After your food settled a bit, you went on a few rides. Cameron was being romantic and took you on the ferris wheel. There, you took pictures and relaxed. You held his strong hands the whole time.

When you reached the top, Cameron reached over and gave you a big kiss. He was so sweet.

Soon after the ride was over, you went back to the games. Cameron came across a game where you test your strength, and of course he had to play.

He waited in line and when he got to the front, he showed the operator the wrist band he was wearing. He grabbed the heavy mallet and swung really hard. When the mallet hit the metal circle at the bottom, the scale went all the way up and rang the bell.

"Nice on Cam!" You exclaimed.

"Good job," the operator of the game said. "Here are you prize choices."

Classic fair prize, there was a huge stuffed teddy bear on the rack. Cameron took it off and handed it to you.

"Aww Cameron," you said and held it. It was almost as tall as you.

"Just a little something to show how much I love you," he said and kissed you on the cheek.

"I love you too."

After playing a few more games, you walked over to a dessert stand and got some cotton candy. Then you walked back to the car, taking turns carrying the bear.

When you got home, you placed the bear on the bed behind your pillow and cuddled with Cameron until you fell asleep.
