The Decorating War

Aphmau *POV*

It's finally December! I CAN'T WAIT TO DECORATE MY HOUSE!!! I love decorating, this is going to be the best. Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan and I just went shopping for Christmas decorations. When we were at the Home Depot store, Kawaii~Chan really wanted to get the pink christmas tree, I barely convinced her not too. I was positive that Kawaii~Chan was going to cry. Katelyn was somewhere, she was probably with Nicole since we bumped into her when we arrived.

"But Aphmau~Senpai, why can't we???" whined Kawaii~Chan.

"Kawaii~Chan, you see - uh - pink trees are evil?" I said, I really didn't know what to say.

"Hoooow? Pink trees are good! Very good for romance and kissing, not to mention Aaron and you!" said Kawaii~Chan.

"Kawaii~Chaaaan......can we just go home??" I say in a pleading voice. Suddenly Katelyn comes in.

"Kawaii~Chan! I can hear your whining from a mile away! NO WE ARE NOT GETTING A PINK TREE!!!" shouts Katelyn.

"Ok," says Kawaii~Chan, she sniffs and with that we walk home.

Garroth *POV*

"Ahhhh, nothing like decorating the house," says Laurence as he leans on the fence.

"Yup, we are sure to win the girls hearts with these decoration skills," says Dante as he flexes his muscles.

"Yeah, well you better not be going after Aphmau," Laurence and I say in unison.

"Chillax guys, I'm going after all the girls, with my baby photo...." says Dante casually.

"Yeah, like you'll ever get any girls," I say.

"Hey, that's not true, Me and Nicole hang out and I think shes into me," Dante says.

"Oh really?" I say, not really convinced.

"Anyway..... Hey Look! The girls are here!" says Dante trying to change to subject, somehow Laurence and I let this fall. The three of us walk to the girls.

Aphmau *POV*

I see the boys walking to us, I hope their not up to any mischief...

"Hey look! There's Dante, Garroth and Laurence!" says Kawaii~Chan stating out the obvious.

"Yes Kawaii~Chan, we can all SEE that they are COMING towards us," says Katelyn.

"But Katelyn~Sama! You don't have to be so mean," whines Kawaii~Chan.

"Guys, I seriously am reconsidering my house-mate choice, you guys always FIGHT, just please cut it out," I say and they both shut up.

"Hey girls, need any help de - OW!" says Dante flirtatiously as Katelyn punches him in the stomach.

"No we don't need help and we are going to win this decorating competition!" says Katelyn. I remember the first time I had a decorating competition. My vision went blurry and then I felt a new feeling inside of me.

"Is Aphmau ok?" asked Dante noticing my face, which was turning as red as a tomato.

"YES, I AM VERY OK AND WE ARE GOING TO WIN THIS CONTEST NO MATTER WHAT!!!!" I shout and then for the next few hours I go into a decorating frenzy and so do Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan.

~~~A Few Hours Later~~~

"OUR DECORATING IS THE BEST!" I shout as we overlook our house.

"Nah! Ours are better," says Dante.

"How? With that cheap wreath hung on your door, your sure to lose!" I say.

"Hey! That wreath was made by my grandma! It's very pretty!" says Garroth.

"Guys, our decorations are best, even though you are adorable," says Dante and Katelyn hits him across the street.

"Well...Katelyn... Kawaii~Chan, Aphmau, we'll see you in the loser's team!" says Laurence, but before the boys walk off, the judge comes around to our street and starts looking at your houses. Than she shakes her head and says:

"Such a shame, we already picked a winner,"says the Judge.

"WHO????" I say a bit too loudly.

"A man called uh... I forgot his name, but his house is over there on the end of the street," she says as she points to Aaron's house. How? This must be a mistake, all of us run down to Aaron's house quickly to see his decoration. When we get there, there is a crazy light show displayed on his house and when they play music the lights make awesome patterns. A few minutes later... my vision is cleared and I feel normal.

Just before we can walk away, Aaron comes out of the door. He blushes when his eyes drift to me, I blush back.

"Hey guys, do you like my decorations?" he asks.

"No! Their terrible! I - oof!" says Dante as I punch him in the eye.

"I swear you girls are going to make him a blue and black monster by the time Dante gets a wedding ring," says Garroth.

"Great! Then we have lot's of time!" says Katelyn.

"Well, you can't beat that, can you?" says Garroth and we all agree. Aaron is just too good, but I'll get him someday. I can't believe this! We all give compliments to Aaron and everyone walks off, but I stay behind with Aaron.

"Hey," he says.

"Hey," I reply.

"I saw your decorations, their really nice," says Aaron.

"Thanks..." I say. Then he offers me to walk me home and I say yes. We talk about random things like the embarrassing ship that Kawaii~Chan keeps going on about thats between us. He looks kind f disappointed, like he was wishing that ship would become a cannon. Hm... before long, we reach my house and I say goodbye while Katelyn give Aaron this evil stare. He walks off and I feel a part of me fading into the darkness...

"Guys? Why don't we watch a movie and drink hot chocolate?" Katelyn says, we all agree. After the movie we all go to bed.
