A Surprising Encounter

Aphmau *POV*

Today I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. Shoot! I set my alarm to 9:00. My reputation!!! I was used to waking up early. Grrrr.... I'm really grumpy this morning/afternoon.

"Morning Aphmau, off to a late start are we?"says Katelyn cooking some eggs. All I do is grunt in reply. "Hm... maybe some of Katelyn's fried eggs will help?" My eyes light up, Katelyn was never good at cooking but boy, was she good at frying eggs.

"There's that really annoying and overly excited Aphmau I know," she said.

"Thanks Katelyn," I say a bit embarrassed. Suddenly Kawaii~Chan walks in with a lot of decorations, which is strange because we already decorated the house inside and out.

"Aphmau~Senpai!" exclaims Kawaii~Chan, "I have the best plans for the christmas party!"

"Huh?" Katelyn and I say in unison.

"Hm..." Kawaii~Chan was hard at thought, "Oh! So that's was I forgot, I need to tell you now!" with that Kawaii~Chan grabbed me and Katelyn's hands and dragged us all to her room. For some reason it seemed pinker than I remember.

"Uh... Kawaii~Chan, we know you like parties but-" I start but then get cut off by Kawaii~Chan.

"GUYS, IN MY DREAM LAST WEEK I HAD THE MOST AMAZING DREAM ABOUT A CHRISTMAS PARTY AND AARON~KUN AND APHMAU~SENPAI!!!!" says Kawaii~Chan over excitedly.

"Wow.... Kawaii~Chan, thats a good idea about the christmas party but not so good about the Aaron and I," I say. I whisper to Katelyn, "hey, can you back me up?"

"Sure," she whispers back.

"Kawaii~Chan, you are so immature! If you aren't going to drop that Aarmau whatever thing, I'm going to go downstairs and take apart that stupid, darn shrine of yours myself!" says Katelyn angrily.

"Ok..." replies Kawaii~Chan, disappointed, "anyway, about the party, I was wondering if we could have it on December 25th so we can just ask all our friends to come over and have like a kawaii get together!"

"That sounds great!" I say.

"I agree, but who should we invite?" says

"I think, we should invite the essential, such as Nicole," says Katelyn.

"Katelyn, of course we are going to invite Nicole, so you can actually have a friend there," I say teasingly.

"Hey! I have a lot of friends!" says Katelyn hotly.

"Katelyn, it's called sarcasm," I say. All Katelyn does is grunt in reply.

"Anyway, I think that we could get a pink Christmas tree and decorations!" says Kawaii~Chan enthusiastically.

"No, Kawaii~Chan we already have a lot of decorations and also a really big Christmas tree," I say.

"Awww, I was so close! But still, I have the whole party planned out," says Kawaii~Chan as she yaps on and on about Aaron and I, believe me it can get really annoying sometimes. While I'm lost in my thoughts, Kawaii~Chan gets to the topic of invitations.

"So I was thinking, we should have priority guests such as Prince Reese and all those other dreamy guys..." Kawaii~Chan just stares off into space probably thinking up some fantasy including her and that Reese guy.

"Why don't we invite Reese, Laurance, Garroth, Zane, Travis, Dante, Nicole and some other people, you know, Vylad might even be able to come to," I say. I start thinking, I finally realize that I have not seen Vylad in a long time, but before I go swimming in my thoughts once again, Katelyn interrupts me.

"Pfft... sure, like thats going to happen, no one has seen Vylad in like, what? 8 months?" says Katelyn in her usual pessimistic ways.

"I'm sure he'll come, actually let me call him now," I say and search him up in contacts and call him.

"Hello?" says the usual happy voice of Vylad, but his voice seems to have a hint of depression in it.

"Vylad! It's Aphmau, I haven't heard or seen you in so long! How are you?" I say.

"Aphmau! It's so good to hear your voice! I'm doing well, by the way I was wondering if I could talk to you," he says, immediately that hint of depression is lost within the happiness of his voice.

"Anything Vylad, honestly... so what's up?" I say.

"Oh... I have no idea if it's too much to ask but I was wondering if I could stay at your place for a while, before I move into a house near you guys," says Vylad.

"Wait, what? You know that Garroth and Zane also have their own houses too, right?" I say a bit confused.

"I do, but my family has always helped me and this is something I want to do on my own," says Vylad, "I'm coming to your house now,"

"Wait, WHAT???" but before I can say anything, Vylad hangs up and there is a 'ding dong' noise. Most likely from my doorbell. I walk downstairs expecting it to be Garroth or Laurance but when I open the door, I see Vylad.

"Vylad!" I say and we both hug each other.

"Aphmau, hey!" he says.

"Vylad come, sit down and let's get up to speed," I say as we both sit down on the couch and for the next hour we talk about his life. It turns out that Vylad has not been in the city for a whole year and has actually been traveling around the world.

"So, how has Zane an Garroth been?" asked Vylad. After Vylad had mentioned Zane I realize that I had to meet Zane at his house at 12:00, it was now 12:10. I glance at the clock on top of the tv just as the doorbell rings.

"Vylad, let me go get that," I say and walk to the door, wondering who the person at the door might be. It turns out it was Zane.

"Zane!" I say, "sorry about that, someone I haven't seen was here,"

"Who?" says Zane as he walks into the room where Vylad is before I can stop him, "Vylad?"

"Zane!" says Vylad as he attempts to hug Zane.

"You know I don't like hugs," says Zane, suddenly the doorbell rings again.

"I'll get it," I say, once again walking to the door.

"Hey Aph-" starts a blonde guy with blue eyes.

"Garroth!?" I say.

"Uh... yeah? Wait. Who is-" Garroth starts again, this time is cut off by Vylad.

"Garroth," says Vylad as he tackles him.

"Vylad?" says Garroth really confused.

"Uh... yeah, I'm staying with Aphmau until I can get a house here," says Vylad.

"Oh, Zane... what are you doing here?" asks Garroth.

"I was going to hang out with Aphmau but Vylad made her late and Aphmau didn't tell me so I came over just to check on her," says Zane.

"Zane didn't give me a hug," says Vylad in a baby voice. I realize that Vylad is still hugging Garroth.

"Oh come on Zane, give your little brother a hug," says Garroth. Zane stares at Vylad, who is no longer hugging Garroth.

"Fine," says Zane.But before he can say anything, zvylad tackles him, "hey, this isn't so bad..."

Garroth has a smug face,"maybe you can hug me now?" Zane was disgusted and shoved Vyolad off him.

"Never, ever in forever!" says Zane, he almost sounds like when he was in high school, "Anyway, Aphmau we should get going, it's almost 12:30."

"Sure!" I say.

"Oh, so Aphmau is busy... Vylad do you wanna come to my house?" asks Garroth.

"Sure!" says Vylad.
