Kisses in the Dark ~ An Aarmau Story

I was so excited I couldn't contain it, my first date with Aaron officially. I was wearing lavishing lavender that hung just on my knees. I touched up on my lipstick when I got a text.

Aaron: hey, look outside

I turn my phone off and start to look out the window, I see a red Ferrari outside my house. All I could do was hold my mouth. Wow, that was all I could think of. I hurriedly rushed down stairs with my purple clutch.

"Hey," said Aaron.

I smiled, "hey," he grabbed my waist and led me into the car, "I never knew you had a Ferrari,"

"Oh I always did but I never had someone to share it with," he says blushing.

Once we're in the car I realise that Aaron hasn't told me where we are going, curiosity gets the best of me and I decide to ask him.

"Hey, where are we going?" I ask.

"Somewhere," he says, "just look around." I look around and see that we're on a highway with nothing but the ocean and a few mountains in the back.

"Oh come on you know I hate suspense," I say. 

"Exactly why I'm not telling you," he says jokingly, I couldn't help but put on a smile.

"Fine, two can play at that game," I say. He takes my hand

"Shu, remember in high school when you only knew me as Aaron?" Asks Aaron.

"Yeah, of course," I say.

"Did... did you like me?" He asks.

"Well... at first yeah, but then you were so mean," I say.

"I'm sorry, it's just," he trails off with tears coming down his face.

"Aaron what's wrong?" I say immediately worried.

"I guess everyone I loved always left me, and I- I knew I liked you but I was just so scared that I might lose you if you got close to me." He starts crying.

"I would never leave you! I - I love you! Aaron, this is because of your family in the past?" I ask.

His eyes turn cold and he just looks straight. All he could do was manage a knot.

"Anyway, we're here," he says stopping at a picnic stop, overlooking the whole city.

"Aaron.... this is," the sight was amazing, it was beautiful.

He leans in for a kiss, so I kiss him. The kiss goes deeper and soon we're making out. But I stop. Out of breath.

"Maybe we should sit down?" I say.

"Yeah of course," he says laughing and sitting down.

We sat down on a classic picnic blanket. Next to me there is a basket, Aaron gestures me to open it. "Well take a look in it,"

I open it and inside we're tickets to Copenhagen.

Fiy: it's the capital of Denmark.

"Oh my god, Aaron," I say and kiss him, but neither of us let go, so we started making out again. Our kiss was like a seed in the ground and as we keep going further the seed starts to bloom as a flower.

"I love you," Aaron whispers into my ear and I shiver.

"I love you too," I reply.

We didn't stop, neither of us pulled away. It was too good. But I ran out of breath so I had to stop.

"Aaron..." I say gazing into his eyes.

"Aph, you're amazing," he says. I turn away to look at the view. I just realise how cold it is.

"It's cold," I say, setting aside the warmth I gained from Aaron.

"Take my hand, let's go to my place," says Aaron.

Taking his hand we stand up and pack up the picnic. I walk one step and Aaron swoops me of my feet.

"Aaron! My dress," I say blushing bright red.

"Oh come on, there is literally no one here," he says.

He leads me into the car and we start driving toward his house.

*Aaron's House*

As we enter the house Aaron turns on the heater. I go and sit on the couch while Aaron grabbed a blanket and snuggled next to me.

"What do you want to do?" Asked Aaron.

"Be with you and cuddle," I say cuddling closer to him.

"That's what I want too," he says.

As we snuggle up on his couch I realise that there will be bumps in the road. It will be challenging, but I love him, so much. Some people won't approve, but that's ok their like kisses in the dark.
