"Ok. We're here now, so where's the coven." Kyla asked.
"How are we supposed to know? A frickin coven is not on a map," I said getting my water bottle, handing it to Isla to fill up.
"When I was doing my research, I read somewhere that they like to hang out at popular tourist locations. Then we just need to give them some kind of code I guess," Isla said filling up the water bottle and tossing it back to me.
"Ok. What about that witch trial place," I suggested.
"What?"
"The place where they hung like 20 people or something because they thought they were witches."
"Hmm never heard of that, we can head there first thing in the morning though. We really need to get some rest," Kyla said.
"Yeah I'm reallllly tired," Lavena added.
We realized we should probably sleep farther away just in case the crazy was still behind us.
We found this little, old, empty farm. We broke into their barn and slept in there where we'd be safe.
In the morning, we left first thing. We went to a public library, and used the computers to find out where we were going.
It was around and hour walk or so, but we made it there.
Yesterday was our last day with food, so we really needed to find the witches.
"Now what?" I asked starring at all the tourists taking pictures.
"Well, we need to get the attention to the crazy coven ladies, without getting the attention of anyone else," Kyla said, looking around.
"Well what do witches do?" I asked.
"Hold hands, speak Latin," Isla said sarcastically.
"Kay let's just do that," Kyla suggested.
"Um don't you think we'll draw attention to ourselves?"
"OK I have an idea...."
After huddling around and listening to Islas idea, it was time to put the plan in action.
---
"Maleficus!?" Lavena yelled.
"Excuse me, have you seen my sister Maleficus?" Lavena went around asking people.
"MALEFICUS where are you!?" She yelled one last time before we noticed a woman approaching her.
She had jet black hair tied back in a french braid. She wore a red leather jacket with jeans and black boots.
I walked up beside Lavena to make sure this chick wasn't crazy.
"SARAH! There you are!" I played along standing behind Lavena.
"Maleficus, smart way to get our attention," she said in a serious tone.
"What does it even mean?" Lavena asked.
"It's Latin for witch, sweetheart," she said looking me in the eye but eventually lightening up and smiling.
"It's Emelina."
"Caitir," I said shaking her hand. "Oh and this is Kyla, Isla, and this is Lavena," I said gesturing to my sisters.
"Nice to meet you. And no offense or anything, but we need to get you guys to the coven and get cleaned up!" She paused. "That is what your looking for right?" A look of worry grew in her eyes.
"Yeah of course!"
"OK good, thought I just gave that away! Anyways let's get you guys to that coven and you can show us what you got."
The coven was in a beautiful, large, old house.
The entrance of the house was grand, and we were greeted by many other people when we entered.
"Guys this is Caitir, Isla, Kyla and Lavena," Emelina said gesturing to us.
"And this is Stella, Belladonna, Zeina and Ashley."
"Nice to meet you guys," I said shaking their hands. I flinched a little when I shook Belladonna's, it was freezing beyond believe.
"Oh sorry!" She said quickly letting go.
"One of my powers is-"
"She likes to freeze stuff," Stella interrupted.
"Yeah pretty much. I control temperature. It's just more fun to make things cold," she said shaking my hand again. This time, a normal temperature.
"Can you control the weather?" Lavena asked quietly.
"Yes, but I try not to mess that up too much. Although, it is fun messing with the weather man!"
"Alright. Now where do we start?" Emelina asked. "Ah yes, the showers."
Hey guys! I know this was another chill chapter but I have a lot of drama planned so yeah! Be sure to favorite and all that crap.
