"And don't hesitate to destroy stuff in your path or you'll die." Qrow finished announcing the rules. "Good luck and junk. Not that you'll need it, or anything." he looked at Birdie. "No pets aloud, sorry." Asuki kissed Birdie's head. "Be back soon." she whispered. The first person launched off the platform on the opposite end.

Asuki blasted off into the sky.
She immediately knew what she had to do.
She activated her semblance.
First her feet started to buzz, then her legs, then arms, then her entire torso.
Next her arms, then neck, then head...
Then she burst into flames.
Asuki felt no pain, for fire didn't hurt her because of her semblance. She focused, and channeled all the fire into a pair of flaming wings on her back. She soared through the air, wind kissing her face.
Right, partner. She thought.
Asuki slightly tilted her wings and soared gracefully down to the forest floor.
I gotta find Brandon!
She raced through the undergrowth, dodging trees and roots. As she got farther, the forest became more condensed. It grew harder to dodge the fallen branches and trunks.
Eventually, she accidentally tripped on a tree root and fell face first into the dirt.
"Oww..." she groaned.
"Are you okay?" said a female voice.
She looked straight up into a set of lavender eyes.
"Yea..."
"What's your name?" asked the girl.
"Asuki. Yours?"
"Oh, I'm Violet!" she chirped, helping Asuki to her feet.
She had long violet hair, with a dark purple streak. Her face was thin and long, with freckles sprinkled across her cheeks. She grinned.
"Your semblance is really cool. I totally thought you were going to explode!" she said, smiling.
"Yeah, thanks." Asuki blushed.
"Coolio!" Violet said. Asuki noticed she was wearing a light purple, metal jacket.
"Why is your jacket like that?" Asuki asked.
"Oh... Right." Violet said. She squeezed the bottom of her jacket, and almost immediately it transformed into a gigantic spiked hammer with two melee throwing daggers attached to the handle.
"It's my weapon," she said, bouncing it in her hand. "Do you like it?"
Asuki was speechless.
"No," Asuki said sarcastically. "It's hideously ugly and I hate it already."
Violet frowned.
"Be serious." she said.
"I... It's.... Amazing." Asuki finished.
"Wanna see mine?"
"Sure. You can take it out to destroy the huge Ersa lumbering towards us."
Asuki looked just in time to see a huge Ersa lumbering through the woods.
"Okay, sure find whatever."
They launched into action.
