Tonight I Feel Invincible, This Feeling's Irresistible.

*Rose's P.O.V*

“Quick follow me! My friend needs help, please help us!” The blue-eyed boy urgently spoke to us, starting to run out into the field. We got out of the truck and ran after him. We did not go very far and were stopped by a group of four guys, included the one with the perfect blue eyes, who were surrounding a guy with tanned skin and jet-black hair. His ankle had obviously been broken and I noticed that right away. I whispered to Devyn to go and comfort him and once she sat down beside him, I grabbed the arm of the blonde boy, trying to get him to follow me. When he caught on to what I was motioning us to do we ran back to the truck. In the back, I had bandages, pain killers, crutches and a boot-like cast Devyn and I had found at the hospital we went to about a week ago. Will the help of the Blond-haired boy, we took the supplies back to where the rest of his friends and my sister was.  I sat down on one side of the black-haired boy, my sister on the other side talking to him to calm him down. From what I could see, she was doing an amazing job of it. Even though I could see it on his face that he was in pain, I could also tell he was trying his best not to show it. I saw him holding Devyn’s hand, but didn’t say anything about it. I cleaned up some cuts on his leg before I wrapped it up and stuck the cast on it.

 “For a few days to a week you should use the crutches and not put any pressure on your foot, but after that keep the cast on for a month. Your foot should heal up fine, I am not a doctor but my sister once had a broken foot too” I said to him, trying to reassure him it would be okay.

“Alright thanks a lot, may I ask the names of you two ladies?”

By this point the other four boys had also gathered around closer, wanting to join in on the introductions.

“I am Rose Simons, and this is my sister Devyn. What about you guys?” I said to them.

“I am Zayn Malik” the one we had just helped said.

“Harry Styles” said the one with the curly brown hair and the green eyes; he hadn’t stopped staring at me since I had arrived here.

“Louis Tomlinson” The one with the brown hair and bright blue eyes said excitedly, jumping up to me and giving me a hug. I think to myself how full of life this one is!

“Great to meet you guys, I am Liam Payne” Said the one with brown hair and brown eyes and a big friendly smile.

“I am Niall Horan!” When he spoke, it sent butterflies off in my stomach. His big smile made me smile, it was so contagious. His deep blue eyes were so easy to get lost in, but as soon as I noticed him looking at me I quickly looked towards the ground.

“So where are you guys headed?” Liam spoke to my sister and I.

“We don’t really have much of a destination.” I answered him.

“Oh really? We don’t either! What do you think about sticking together? Harry added in excitedly.

“Um I am not sure that would be a good idea” I say, and Devyn immediately gives me a nasty look.

“Rose, can I talk to you over by the truck?” she asked me and started walking, not waiting for my response. She was walking fast, this must be something important. When we arrived near the truck she jumped right into what she wanted to say.

“What are you doing? Why can’t we stay with them? It is not like they will slow us down too much or put us in danger. You see them; they are all strong enough to handle themselves this long. I want to stick around them Rose.”

“You are only saying that because you like Zayn” I remarked back to her, not happy that she wanted to stick around.

“Stop being scared of letting other people into your life Rose, not everyone is out to hurt you like Jeremy did!” she argued back to me. That one hurt, she knew I was still sensitive over the whole Jeremy event, so I stayed silent.

“Come on Rose, you know I did not mean to hurt you. Give them a chance okay? Let us at least stay the night, see how it goes okay? Let us just late it one day at a time, and if you still want to leave then I will go along with you. What do you say?” When she asked me this, I knew that saying no again would be unfair to her. I could not do that, I didn’t want to disappoint her. So I agreed and we walked back to where Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam, and Niall were sitting.

*Devyn’s P.O.V*

What Rose had said about my feelings for Zayn was true. There was just something about him made me want to be around him. From the moment I went to comfort him and he complimented me and even though he was in pain, he still managed to smile at me. When he held my hand I never wanted to let go, and if I let Rose take us away from them I may never get the chance to see if anything could happen between Zayn and I. I am glad that she decided to give this a chance.

*Rose’s P.O.V*

They had gathered objects to make a fire because it was starting to get dark. I went back and pulled up the truck closer to where everyone was gathered so it wasn’t so far away, and we all sat around the newly made campfire. Devyn sat down right beside Zayn, and while all of the other boys were close by my sister and Zayn, I sat a bit far away from them. Everyone noticed, but Harry and Niall got up to come over and sat on both sides of me.

“Why is someone as cute as you sitting all by yourself over here?” Harry said to me. I immediately blushed when he told me I was cute.

“Just needed time to think” I replied back to him.

“Alright well we will leave you, but don’t take too long okay? I would love for you to come sit with me over there!” Harry said flirtatiously, and then walked away. After he left Niall lent in close to me and spoke into my ear.

“I am glad you decided to stay Rose. I can’t wait to get to know you” I said then got up. As he was walking he turned around and gave me a big smile.  Once he left I could think. There was no denying the crazy butterflies I got in my stomach when he spoke into my ear and the huge grin that appeared on my face after he shot me that amazing smile. But I couldn’t fall for him, I will not. I will not let myself get hurt by a boy ever again. I sat there thinking about this for a while, how I wanted to enjoy something with other people for once, because just being around these five boys has made me so happy because of their bouncy and lively personalities. They were all so kind and funny it was impossible not to like them. So I decided that I was going to embrace the irresistible feeling that Niall and the rest of the boys gave me, but I also decided that I was going to put my walls up so I don’t get hurt, be invincible. So I got up, and went and sat down with my sister and these five new boys.
