A/N okay so just before i start, this story will not be following the TVD storyline unless there are little details/events that need to be in here. Also Alexis has been in Denver for the past 3 months, carolines a vampire, tylers a hybrid, and all the originals are awake. just thought i'd put that in here, otherwise this next chapter could be confusing.

As I walked through those doors with Tyler in tow, I felt almost euphoric. I hadn't been here in 3 months, and now I'm back. It's weird. Me, Alexis-Janie Gilbert, the Awkward, Younger sibling of Elena and Jeremy Gilbert (not that 10 minutes should count in Jeremy's case anyway), and yet people are saying things like, "Hey Lex" or "How's it goin' Janie?" just completely out of the blue.

But the thing that got me the most?

Caroline Forbes. Miss Mystic Falls. And also apparently Tylers girlfriend. Oops, look what someone forgot to mention.

"Hey Ty"

"Wow Care, im gone 3 months and you've already forgotten about me? You wound me deep", I said as a placed and hand on my chest where my heart lay beneath and pouted like and innocent kid.

"Oh my gosh, sorry Lexi, I didnt notice you, you've changed so much."

"Really? Like how?"

"Well for one, your boobs have finally come out of hiding? And your hair is just gorgeous", she exclaimed as she shot me a sheepish smile. Yep and now im leaving.

-Klaus POV-

Honestly what does Becca get out of coming to school? Petty little thing.

Urgh. Where is she? I've been looking for her for 20minutes. Ah, now theres someone who will tell me.

"Elena?"

"Huh, what? Oh , i'm not Elena, you're thinking of my sister" the petite brunette, who I could've sworn was Elena, exclaimed as she turned around to face me fully. Hmmm. Now that I can see her and not just the back of her head there are considerable differences. Oh well.

"Oh, i'm sorry, its just the resemblence. I'm Niklaus by the way, but you can call me Nik. What would your name be?" i asked her as I listened to her heart beat. Still human. And her heart isnt racing a mile a minute which tells me that some people haven't told her some useful pieces of information. Interesting.

"Alexis-Janie, but you can call me Alex or something" she replied back as she let out a small chuckle.

"Do you happen to know where I could find your sister?"

"Actually I dont, i'm not even sure if shes at school I got a ride with someone else"

"No worries, love, see you around"

And with that I walked away, thinking about this girl, intrigued, she didnt seem completely human, but she's not undead either. What a beautiful mystery.

So it's kinda short, but this is all I could right with exams coming up and without giving away to much.

Alex meets Klaus. Klaus meets Alex. What do you think.
