"Scar......".

I groaned and rolled over but the insistent voice once again purred in my ear, "Scar, time to wake up...", seriously just piss off.

"okay thats enough with mr. Nice guy. Ale-"

I was beyond annoyed at this point and decided to have some fun with it as I cut her off, "Mufasa you realised you just called yourself a dude right? Wait, of course you did your Mufasa what was I thinking? Now what the moth balls do you want because I want to sleep"

As you might be wondering, who am I? My name is Alexis-Janie Gilbert, but my nickname is Scar, Why? Because- well I don't actually know it just is. And I usually just get called Janie, I suppose I have to many nicknames what with all the other weird ones I get given, as well as all the ones that come with my name- Al, Alex, Lexi, Lex, Lexis, AJ,Ally, X-man and many more that i haven't thought of yet probably.

My thoughts were cut short when Elena so rudely interrupted me I was already sitting up in my bed trying to get the sleep out of my eyes.

"Okay, 1. I'm not Mufasa I'm Elena, your favourite sibling, and 2. You need to get your A into G because we have school!".

"Elena your forgetting something, I don't care for school, theres a reason I spent most of my time in detention last year and plus theres nothing fun at school". My guess is she went with her best option first, "Tyler will be there"

"And I care because?, He spent skipped most of last year with me anyway. But I guess you have a point. Now get the moth balls out of my room before i go all potato-mushroom-hybrid on yo ass".

With a laugh she left my room. Argh, what am I doing with my life, I mean seriously potato-mushroom-hybrid, smooth move Alexis. Actually, no, new year, new beginning. "should probably start getting ready..", i muttered to myself, "that you should", "holy mother of cheese fries Jer! I almost shat my pants", I yelled as I glared daggers at my older twin brother, literally if looks could kill, he'd be dead as a dodo.

"Oh my glob did I really just think that?", i glanced at Jeremy to see him smiling goofily at me, and now he's questioning my sanity. I smiled sheepishly at him and got out of bed to choose what to wear today. I swear what is with this kid he just wont leave me alone, "Jer, please go back to what ever is was you were doing so i can get ready?", hope and kindness dripping off my words. "okay". Humph, if i'd have known it would have been that easy i would have just pushed him out my door. Oh well.

I walked back to my wardrobe and decided on some black skinny jeans, black tank top, navy blue knit jumper and my black chucks. I straighten my brown just below shoulder length hair, run my fingers through it and top it off with a black slouchy beanie. Eh, what can I say I can dress properly.

Now i'm ready. I grab my black purse, my wallet and my iphone.

"Mufasa, i'm ready", i yelled as I madde my way down stairs knowing full well that she wasn't. Thats the thing with me im simple. Okay, simple-ish. Fine, most people question my sanity. But thats okay it just means they are coming up with excuses because im awesomer than they are, i cant help it, its not my fault I dont have an awesomeness switch.

"Evening Jenna", I tipped my head as I walked into the kitchen.

"Honestly Scar, im worried", came her reply. "Oh please dont be, im perfectly fine really, and i might start going by Alexis or Alexis-Janie at school again, Janie just isnt cutting the pizza for me anymore".

"Okay, who are you and what have you done with our sister?"

"Oh relax Mufasa I just need coffee", I exclaimed as i realised Elena and Jeremy standing in the kitchen doorway.

"Crap, crap, crap. Jenna i'll see you later, Tylers almost here i'll just get some coffee form the grill", "okay", came her short reply. Well that was easy. A knock come from the door and i just co casually claimed shotgun not getting the door, so, Jeremy being the sweet heart he is(note the sarcasm), got the door. At one glance i knew who it was, even before Jeremy told me just by watching his reaction.

"Hey Lockwood"

"Alexis"

"Why is he allowed to call you Alexix but know one else is?", Jeremy asked me as i stood there rummaging through my purse to check i had everything.

"Because i'm awesome, now Lex, are you coming to school or are you going to stand there being adorable all day?"

I heard Jeremy fake gag and decided it was probably time to go. "Oh haha Lockwood, fine lettuce leaf"

"I swear Lex sometimes I think your going crazy", Tyler stated as we got in his car.

"Oh I dont doubt i am Ty, but I never denied it" He just sat there shaking his head as he drove to school.

Me and Tyler are best friends and have been for 2 years now. We told each other everything, he's sorta like my other half but not in that gross lovey dovey way. Ah weird pick-up lines where would i be without you?

"Lex? Hello?"

"Huh, what"

"I brought you coffee"

"Oh right thanks Ty, where would I be without you and my weird pick-up lines?"

"Probably in a gutter somewhere or a mental institute?"

"Fair enough, but just know this. If you were a booger, i'd pick you first", i said grinning at Tyler as we pulled into the school parking lot.
