twenty seven || a day(te) with Jin

My phone rang and I picked it up wishing that it was Jungkook. "Hello?"

"Emma." He sighed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen. I-I, my dad got into a car crash."

My heart dropped the second I heard that. "Oh my God, Jungkook are you okay? Is he okay?"

"He's doing surgery right now." He said trembling.

"I-I hope he's okay." I said as my eyes watered. "Jungkook, he's gonna be fine, okay?"

"I want to believe that." He whimpered.
"You don't think he's okay?"

"He got injured real bad."

"Well, whatever. Just know he's going to be fine." I argued. "He's your dad. Don't overthink."

"Yeah... You're right." He sighed. "Since I can't watch the movie with you, Jin's gonna watch it with you." He said and I raised an eyebrow.

"Jin? Why?"
"Yeah, he's picking you up now. He doesn't have anything to do today so just spend the day with him."

"Okay." I said and we hung up. Jin is taking me to the movies?

"Hi Emily." Jin joked when I opened the door for him. I rolled my eyes.
"Emily?"

"Let's go." He said and grinned. His pretty face made me grin with him.

We walked in the movie theater. We still had ten minutes left before it starts. "We always need food before we watch a movie." He said walking over the the food stands. I followed him and he asked me what I wanted. I asked for popcorn and a soda. He also bought a small pack of candy for me, which I didn't ask for.

After the movie we walked out of the theater. "That was a good movie." He said proudly. "The part about food was my favorite."

I grunted. "Wasn't that what the whole movie was about? You kept talking the whole time."

He slightly laughed. "Food is something you can't live without. Something I can't live without."

"I see that." I slightly grinned.
"Let's go eat something. I'm hungry." He said and I nodded.

We stopped by a corner store. "Aish, I'm so hungry. Hurry up, Emma." He said pulling me into the store. I mouth opened a gap, surprised.

"I have $20, let's make the best out of it." He said walking to the area with the sausages. I grabbed two bowls of ramen and two bottles of banana milk. I walked over to Jin who was taking two sausages and rice.

He looked at me and we walked over to the cashier. "$15." He said and Jin handed him a twenty. Jin looked at me and sighed relief.

"I thought that wouldn't be enough." He said and I slightly grinned. After we bought our food we walked out the shop and sat down on the table.

"Hot water, we need hot water for the ramen." I said kind of shivering from the coldness of December.

"Oh, yeah. I'll do it." He said taking both the bowls and walking back inside the store. I waited while shivering. I zipped up my jacket and looked around. It was dark and cold. Three minutes later Jin came back with the two bowls and a blanket.

He set the two bowls down and wrapped the blanket around me. "U-Uhm," I stuttered, "What is this? Where did you get it?"

"You were shivering so I walked to the car and grabbed the blanket before coming back." He said with his pink cheeks.

"Thank you." I said and stared at him. "You're cold too. Let's go eat in the car."

"No, it's fine." He said, "I like the cold."

He grinned and I sighed. "Ramen, ramen, here I come..." He said and I slightly laughed.

"Laughing at me?" He said and took a bite out of his sausage before adding rice in the ramen.

"Kinda." I said still smiling. I opened the lid to my ramen and Jin added the rest of the rice in my ramen. He handed me the other sausage and I took it.

"Delicious." He said eating his food. I ate mines and we talked a bit about ourselves. I learned that he loves cooking and food, which isn't surprising to me.

"Do you like Jungkook?" He asked finishing his sausage making me almost choke on my ramen. I drank the banana milk and swallowed. I looked at Jin.

"Why are you asking me that?"

"Just wondering." He shrugged taking my sausage and taking a bite out of it. He then continued with his ramen.

"But then..." He said and I looked at him. "Don't you feel anything when you're with him? You've been spending time, well, actually living with him for the past few months."

"Are you sure you're just wondering?" I asked and he continued eating.

"Just to be clear." He said, "He's been waiting for Joy for over 3 years? I really don't know why, but he's still waiting for her answer. I don't know how long he's gonna wait, but the way he looks at you is the way he looks at Joy. Maybe even more. Maybe you'll be the one to make him forget about her. Hopefully you are."

I stared at him blankly and speechless. "Good luck to you, Emma." He said and slurp the last of his ramen.

Well, I just wanted to undate for you guys. My trip is over and I just got back this morning and I thought a lot about what I should write for this chapter. I was planning on updating on Thursday but I guess not. Hehe.

This chapter doesn't really have Jungkook in it but more of Jin and Emma. Will there be a love triangle? Maybe, maybe not. What if I start shipping Emjin more than Emkook? Lolol, I'm just kidding. But do you guys like Emjin? Or Emkook?
