"MEGAN!" Jake yells as he banged my door open.

"Ever thought of knocking?" I saw his hair and laughed to death. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of such a wonderful moment.

"You little-"

"That's revenge for making me eat those terrible things." There's one thing about Jake that I know for sure. Nobody messes with his and I quote, "georgously beautiful sexy hair". And nobdy messes with my food, so I have pretty reasonable excuse for doing such a thing.

"Of all pranks, this is what you thought of! Good thing I hae a special dye remover." I grins.

"Well, dye remover won't work. Thae dye you used is specially made for pranksters, which means it with last for-''

"What? One week? Two?"

"6 months...." I say softly. He turns red at the thought of going to school with purple hair. I admit, I feel slightly guilty for doing that.

"On the bright side, Nina, the girl who's crazy about you, won't like you anymore for your purple hair." He just glared at me.

"Oh hey Jake- woah..." For some reason Adrian came in the room out of nowhere. "Why does weird stuff always happen in this place?! First the makeu with Emerald, then this?"

"You knew about that?" I asked.

"The whole school does. They've been making fun of it all day."

"Oh, great." Jake replies sarcastically.

"Well, that must be tragic. Now,if you excuse us, we've got a boilogy project to do." I say pushing Jake out.

Me and Adrian studied the lesson related to the subject on my desk. I fond it hard to focus, since I can't stop staring at that charming little face. I found it even harder to concentrate when his leg brushed mine. It made me cough a couple of times.

"Hey, are you okay?" He said rubbing my back.

"I'm fine! Now think of ideas for our project and stop worrying about me!" It annoyed me to think that I found him attractive for some reason.

After hours of revising, sharing ideas, and doing craft work, we finally finished. I have to admit, he is the best partner I've have so far.

"You know what Megan, you are actually not so bad after all."

"What did you think of me before?"

"Bossy, intimidating, show off, bad tempered, rude, scary-"

"Hold on. Scary?"

"Well, you did nearly cut my neck with your manly hands," I laughed at the thought of that. Then I saw Adrian's scab on his forehead.

"What's that?'' I asked him, touching the scab slightly. He whined a little bit. I made him sit on my bed and took my first aid kit.

"I'm fine Megan." Ignoring his remark, I took an alchohol and poured some on a peice of cotton. I dabbed it on the scab, the took a skin cream and put a little bit on. I finally put a banage on it, as it is slightly bleeding.

"Here," I gave him the tube of skin cream. "Put it on regularly until it heals so it won't leave a mark."

"Thanks." He smiled. "Well, I guess I better leave."

"Alright, then."

"Oh, wait. I forgot to tell you something."

"K, then. What is it?"

"For some reason we already tracked down the place where the syndicated sells bodies."

"What?!"

"Isn't that supposed to be good news?" He said. I did think it was good news, but it doesn't feel right. It's an international syndicate. How can tracking down their whereabouts be that simple? I tried to tell Adrian this, but he just waved me off.

"Megan, don't you trust us? Come on, maybe when we thought this was going to be a complicated case it's actually not. Maybe they just made the image of being pwerfull and all to confuse us."

"Okay, but I suggest we should be more careful. Get more spies and agents to help when we actually do the plan. We should get more devices to protect ouurselves. You never know when they'll attack."

"Mr. Wilson is organising another meeting tomorrow. You're coming right?"

"Of course."

Adrian packed up his things and went downstairs. Jake opened the door for him and said goodbye.

"Bye, Adrian! Be careful on hanging out with Megan, she can be highly dangerous." I glared at him, but ignored me. Instead he sat down and watched a football game. I sat beside him and tried to start a conversation, but he ignored me again and tried not to listen.

"You know, I don't think the silent treatment is gonna work. I know, I know I used to end up apologising for what I did, but not this time! You can pretend not to listen to me all your life, but you're gonna give up anyways. Someday......" I said.

Then I remember about my fire phobia. I was planning to tell my family about this! My parents aren't coming back until 11. Great, now I have to wait for them.

It's been hours since me and my brother finished eating our dinner. Right now, we're watching television again and Jake still hasn't said a word yet. Even if he won't talk to me, I'm still not apologizing.

Ding dong! The bell rang. It must be my mom since it's already eleven o'clock.

Here goes........
