Adrian
Megan, Lana, and some girls from the cheerleading team were all dancing together, not really caring if they looked like idiots.
I just can't believe she's hanging out with them!
I still don't trust those girls. I know, I'm knew at school and all but from what I've heard Megan always gets into trouble because of them. What's so crazy is that, somehow it bothers me. It bothers me thinking that something bad will happen to her.
"Dude, come on. Stop worrying about her and have fun!" Jaden said. Two giggling girls were beside him. One was blonde and one was a brunette.
"What?! I-I'm not worried about her!"
"Well, then why are you staring at her for such a long time! Wait, you like her do you?" Jaden grinned.
"You're being ridiculous." I said, crossing my arms.
I watched Megan again. She looked really good in her yellow crop top, denim shorts and brown leather boots. For the first time ever, she left her hair untied. It was naturally flowing as she danced to the music. Then I saw a guy walk over. Now they were dancing and laughing together. He was tall and had a muscular body, they say he's a member of the football team. I felt sort of, angry, I hated seeing her with some other guy, was I jealous?
Impossible.
"I told you you liked her." Jaden said at the back of me.
"Why do you think that?"
"You just asked yourself if you were jealous, I've been spying on you."
Did I think that out loud?
I just ignored him and took some food. There is no way I will like her.
She doesn't even know that guy and she's already flirting.....
"Hey! Having fun?" A voice said as I chewed on a taco.
"Uhhmm.... yeah." I told Megan.
"Who's that boy you were dancing with?"
"Oh, you mean Chase? Have you met him? He's really funny." She smiled.
"That's what you think. You gotta go with people you actually know and not with strangers." I said matter-of-factly. She rolled her eyes. The song suddenly changed to romantic, and I asked her if we could dance.
Megan
I can't believe that he actually asked me to dance. Adrian held my waist, while I, lying my head on his shoulder. I felt the warmth of his skin touch mine, and somehow I felt weird. I know it was just a simple dance, but I felt something that I've never felt from a guy before. That crazy jumpy feeling I got as we swayed slowly, made me looked into his eyes. I glanced away, but I noticed him look at me, and smiled which I found really charming. I wished the song would change, but instead it came into a stop. The audience growled, then Gina, Lana's best friend went onstage and grabbed the mic. She tapped the top of it a few times, then opene her mouth to speak.
"Hello everyone! Sorry to disturb your dancing, but I would just like to say thank you to all who came to Lana's party. And now, it's time for Lana to blow the cake!"
Everyone sang her the birthday song, and she blew her cake, smiling.
"Hold on everyone, we still have one more cake!" Lana yelled and everyone got so confused. Then Lana and her friends told me to go to the middle of the room and everyone was a few steps back, circling me. I didn't know what was gonna happen, I was reallly confused at what they were planning.
