As I was walking to their house Johnny asked if I wanted to go the park. I agreed.

We sat down and watched as the sun went down. He held me close and wrapped his arm around me.

"Johnnycake," I whispered in his ear, "If I find a place big enough for two people, I'd like you to come live with me. Think about it. We'll be together and you'll be away from your parents. I'll feel safer," I said.

"Cupcake..... I don't know what to say," He paused.

"How about yes?" I chuckled and kissed him. He finally agreed.

We both stayed in Ponyboy's house. The next day I woke up at dawn.

I looked out the window. The sun was setting. It was beautiful.

I felt someone grab my waist and turned to see Johnny smiling at me, "The only thing more beautiful than that is you," he kissed me.

I smiled and said, "oh Johnnycake,"

After having breakfast, Johnny and Ponyboy accompanied me to find a house. We walked through signs, and finally found a light pole that had a sign about renting an apartment.

"I hope it's in a good neighborhood. The owner better be friendly. They better treat my cupcake right," johnny said.

"Oh calm down, Johnnycake. We aren't even there yet," I said.

When we got there, I wasn't surprised to see it be an apartment building. We entered and asked the person at the lobby about the sign.

"Right this way," She led us to an office where this guy was reading a book.

"hello. I'm Candy Sheldon. I was wondering what you can tell me about..." I held out the sign, "This,"

"Ah yes. We have many rooms available. What'll it be? One person? Two people? Three?" he grinned.

"Two please," I said. he led us down the hall into a room.

The apartment was a little small. but it's an apartment. i check the kitchen. Big enough to cook in. The bathroom looked clean. There were 2 separate rooms as well.

"i'll take it,"I turned to the man.

He led us downstairs. i had to do some paperwork and a bit of payments. Then, finally, he handed me and Johnny the keys, "Enjoy," he said.

Once we were outside, I turned to Johnny who was staring at the keys. "Johnny! Isn't this great?" I hugged him. he hugged me back.

The next day all the guys agreed to help me with the boxes to move in the apartment.

All my things were in boxes when I came earlier. The guys were surprised with my new home.

"This is a nice home," Two-bit said unloading the last box.

"Hey johnny!" yelled Dally from across the room, "You're gonna help with the bills too, right?" I saw Johnny blush.

Johnny just blushed and said nothing.

Afterwords, Johnny helped me unpack. Then he asked to talk to me.

"I've been thinking. You'll be going to school and work, and what will I do? I've decided I should be the one cleaning and cooking," he said. I hugged him.

"I agree," I said and kissed him.
