Tough Love

Part 4

~Ryan POV~

ApparentlyTylerwent running back to the garage, I had no clue why. Wait, then it hit me. He took everything out of the garage; just never put it back in. We were in the backyard just chilling when I think I heard the doorbell. Yes I heard right because a couple of seconds later Jasmine said “Guys come in, look who’s here.” We went in, I had no clue who they were, must have been friends of Ashley or something, I hope Ashley doesn’t forget to introduce me, otherwise it’d be pretty weird just standing there. Well if she forgets I can introduce myself, no need to be treated as a child I thought. But no need for that because Ashley introduced me to them herself. “Hey guys, this is my childhood friend Ryan. Ryan this is Abigail and Gabe.” She said. Joe asked what brought them over. “That’s a good question, I thought, all us good friends live together in this one big house, so why not them? They are our good friends.” Ashley said. “So you’re living here now? This is going to be great” someone said who I think was Joe. Well this is not bad, I just get to meet more people, make new friends right? Unless I somehow feel excluded in their activities. Well I’ll just hang out with Ashley more often, I can get to know her more and hang out with her more, when they do stuff I have no clue of.

Everyone seemed really exited that Abigail and Gabe were moving in, guess I should seem exited too. Not that I wasn’t, I just didn’t know who they were, in fact I really don’t know half the people in the house. When Ashley sent the emails about how everything was going on and stuff, I didn’t read EVERYTHING she wrote, well I did once in a while but I usually never read the stuff about those random guys like Tyler, Garry, Joe and the other ones. And that very first day when they were explaining stuff or something, I really didn’t pay attention, I was amazed by the house they lived in. So I really don’t know who they are. But whatever, if Ashley’s friends with them, then I guess I could be too. I guess I could do it for Ashley.

Gabe and Abigail brought there stuff in and they had to rearrange all the rooming and stuff. Everyone said, now that some people are moving, how about we all move around?

I had no option in this so I just stayed back and thought I’d help when they need me. I’d go and talk to Ashley but she seemed busy. “Okay how about Gary, Gabe and Joe in one room, Abbie, you and me in the one beside, Aaron , Tyler, Porter and Adam in the other and then Sarah and Jasmine in the other? When the guest room is empty, Aaron and Porter can go into there.” Macy said. Ashley replied saying “Wow, Macy never knew you were so smart.” They had there little argument and when it was over, they started moving beds around, decided to paint the rooms, moved the clothes, washed all the guys too, and other stuff. Around eight they finished. They all seemed exhausted but really happy too.

They all just sat there talking to one another. It was mainly the guys who talked to each other, and the girls talked to the girls. I kind of just sat there. Then Ashley left to the kitchen. Before she left she looked over at me. She didn’t say anything; she just looked at me, smiled, then left. What if she liked me? What if that’s why she smiled. Maybe what I hoped was right. Then I got a text, it was from Ashley. It said “Reach the kitchen, gottta talk to you...” I didn’t reply saying anything, instead I just went straight to kitchen without saying a word. Maybe everything I hoped for was right, maybe she did like me too.

“Ryan, you so quite in there” was the first thing Ashley said to me when I entered the kitchen. “Why are you even in the kitchen Ashley?” I asked her.

“Because we have to eat something for dinner. Something that is vegetarian.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m a vegetarian, I do not, and will not eat meat.”

 “Okay. How about pizza?”

“You won’t be tired of having pizza, will you? Because in this house we usually don’t get tired of pizza, and I was afraid maybe you will.”
