Tyler POV

 

 

 

 

I came to the garage and my first question was "What am I suppose to do?" "You idiot, clean the garage" Gary said as he got the grass cutter. "Yeah but what exactly am I suppose to clean?" I replyed still confused. "Well how about you start off with taking out the things we don't need and throw them in the garbage. Then after that take everything out and sweep then spray some water to get the sticky stuff off the floor." Gary said. I was glad Gary knew what to do. "Okay thanks Gary." I said with a smile. "Anytime bro" Gary replied. Gary was like a brother to me, everyone guy was. I started off with taking the things out of the garage. "Hey can you pass me a sponge and the hose?" Ryan asked me. Ryan seemed like a cool guy. He was helpful, nice, athletic and stuff. I think he'd be a good match for Sarah maybe, but Aaron likes Sarah so it's better off that they don't devolpe feeling for each other. "Sure" I said and passed the sponge and hose. "So, where do you live?" I asked him. I think I need to get to know him better. "I live in California" he said. "Oh really" I said amazed. "how come when we all came to California last year you didn't come to visit?" "Oh that's because I was in Canada, my mom lives in Canada and she was moving into a smaller home since my sister got married two years ago. I was helping her move her stuff." Ryan said. Where was he when I had to move my stuff in our house? "So where did you live before you came here?" Ryan asked. "Actually we all lived in Canada before we moved here. The girls didn't want to live near there parents apperently." I answered. "Oh" he replyed. "That's why one day when I called Ashley her mother said she moved. I didn't ask her, I wanted Ashley to tell me her self. "Oh" I replyed. I didn't really know what to say to him. "So how long have you been with Jasmine?" he asked me. "We've been together since about the end of grade twelve. She asked me out, well actually her friends set us up. I rejected twice and then I gave it a shot and found out she's my type. I fell for her." I replyed to him as I took the things out of the garage. Then Gary came to get a bag to put the grass in. "Come on Tyler your so slow. Your still taking the things out, come on be a man and work faster." Gary said to me. "You want to help me?" I asked hoping he'd say yes. "No, are you high? I have to cut all the grass. Backyard and front. And our backyard is big, I only finished like a quarter of it. "How about you hurry and cut it then help me?" I said again. "Hell no, first I want to cut the grass efficiently and second why should I do your work?" I needed an answer to that. Just as I was about to say something Sarah walked in. "Hey Tyler while your cleaning catch the mouse alright?" And she tossed a bottle into the recycling bin. "What! There's a rat in here?" I said terrified. "Not a rat, a mouse." She said laughing and walked away.

 

Okay so now I have to clean the whole garage which is quiet big and catch a rat, correction mouse. I'm terrified or rats and mouses. But she was lauging, so was she joking or serious? I have to go ask. I ran inside to the kitchen to ask and before I could say anything she said "Shoes off NOW!" I immediately took my shoes off there on the spot and said "Okay sorry but were you serious about the rat-- mouse thing?" She laughed. "No Tyler, I was just kidding. I just wanted to scare you a bit." She said. "Few" I said. And I went back to the garage. I hate cleaning but I must because of these girls. I don't know how they get us to do it. It's like if they were some witches, good witches. "Can you turn the water on" Ryan said to me. "Alright" I said as I walked to the tap thing. I finally got all the stuff out and now I started sweeping but I couldn't get my mind off Jasmine. It's been a month since we went out for dinner. I think I will ask her to dinner tonight. But when, we are busy cleaning. I'll text her.I grabbed out my phone and sent a message to her saying "Hey baby, dinner tonight? Only me & you alone." After I sent it, I just continued to sweep untill I got a reply. Then I heard a beep, it was my phone. A text from Jasmine, it said "Yes, I will." Yaay. I just have to have a place to take her. Somewhere nice amd beautiful. Something she would like. Somewhere that a girl would practiclly fall inlove. I have to think of a place to take her. I need the perfect place to take her. Maybe Ryan will know. I should ask him. "Hey, uh Ryan do you know a good restaurant I could Jasmine for dinner tonight?" I asked him. I didn't look at him, I was to shy, thinking what would he think of me, asking him a restaurant. I should just go in and ask Sarah, Ashley and Macy. There her best friends. "Never mind Ryan, I got it." I said. When I was done sweeping the garage I went inside. "Sarah, Macy I--" I got cut off by Macy. She screamed at me "What are you doing here? You should be cleaning the garage, I'm pretty sure it isn't cleaned yet. When I came to check on you, you were texting people." She came? I never noticed her come to the garage. "I finished sweeping. I'm about to clean it out with water now, I just have a question." I said. "What?" Macy replied not interested at all. "What would be a good restaurant for me to take Jasmine tonight?" I said again not looking at them. "Ooh I know one" Macy said exitedly "Creo' " "Where exactly is that?" I asked "Stuyvesant Plaza 1475 Western Ave" Macy replied as she went to go continue vacuuming the living room. "Thanks" I said and walked back to the garage.

 

When I came back out I asked Ryan if I could use the hose while he soaps the car or whatever. He gave me the hose and I sprayed water in the garage. I really didn't know what to do and how spraying water would clean it off. Then Ryan suggested an idea. "How about you let me use the hose to finish this last car, then we can use the extra soap and put it on the garage floor so it's kind of clean?" I agreed with his idea. While Ryan cleaned off the car we just talked to get to know each other better. I asked him "So, are you single?" he replied saying "Uhh...Yeah" I asked him how come and he replied " Well because girls aren't everything in life, there's more then girls. And also because I fell hard for a girl in high school. I asked her out, we dated for a month then I found out she was cheating on me for the past three weeks. I liked her a lot.I guess she just wasn't the one." He said. He didn't bother to look over at me once. Wow, I guess the guy was really hurt. "So what charactistics does the 'one' have?" I asked. "The perfect one has to be kind, sweet, someone who doesn't care about only themself, someone who cares for others and definly someone who won't use me, who likes me for me" He answered. I've never met a guy like him. When he's in a relationship he wants honesty. And I guess he would treat a girl nice, not push her into doing things she doesn't want to. What a guy. When he was done washing the car we took the soap, spread it around in the garage, scrubbed a bit, then washed it off. Once we were done we went into the backyard to see how everyone elses cleaning was going and also because everyone else was in the back and we were the only at the front. We decided to paint the drive way later, it was wet from the water Ryan used to wash the cars. And also because I forgot where I put the paint. That reminds me, I forgot to put everything back in the garage. I ran back to the garage and saw that everything was already back in there. My question was, who did that ?
