~Jasmine POV~

 

Macy and I stayed home while they went to get the pizza. Macy was so interested in the soccer game. But no worries, I had other things I could do. I wondered what took them so long, I was starving. So I texted Sarah saying “wtf is taking forever? I’m starving!” I didn’t get a text back, instead Ashley came in shouting “PIZZA” and we all went to the kitchen. We sat down and we had extra chairs that went with the table for Gabe and Abigail. We all sat down while Sarah got the plates and gave the pizza, and Ashley poured the drinks in a glass. When that was done we all started eating. It wasn’t a group conversation we had but like an individual one, groups of 2 or 3 or 4. I looked at Ryan who was looking at Ashley, like he really wanted to say something. I turned to Macy who was at my left and said to her “Look at Ryan, he seems like he really wants to talk to Ashley, and he has no one else to talk to.”

“Your right”

“I feel bad”

“Why?”

“Because look at him. The only person he really knows is Ashley.”

“We could help”

“How”

“Well let’s get Ashley to talk to Ryan”

“How?”

“Text Ashley to go to the kitchen, then get her to text Ryan to go to the kitchen and see what he wants”

“That’s stupid yet smart”

Macy is nice but mean. When she called me stupid, doesn’t effect me, she says it to everyone. So that’s what we did. I got out my phone and sent a text to Ashley that said “Go to the kitchen NOW then text Ryan and tell him to come to kitchen and ask him what he wants to say because he looks like he has something to say” she replied by saying “wtf why?” and I replied to that saying “Just do it before I ruin your life ;)”

She didn’t say anything after that, she just went straight to then kitchen, and when Ryan got his text he went straight to the kitchen. I followed them there, didn’t let them see me. They were standing in front of the refrigerator where no one could see them. I hid behind the counter in the middle. Ashley said to Ryan “Ryan what’s wrong?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean that you look like you have something to say”

“I ugh- -“

“Oh my god, you feel left out and lost again right? Okay how about I tell you everything? Okay so um, Macy and Aaron are going out, they have the on and off relationships, Tyler and Jasmine aren’t for sure going out but they like each other, Adam has a crush on someone, he won’t say who, and Gabe and Abigail are going out.”

“That explains why when Gabe sent a text Abigail got one and you said you make it so obvious that Gabe is texting her. That makes so much sense. But how come you had that big smile and then Gabe said you made it obvious. What does – “

He got cut off by Gabe who shouted

“Ashley, I need more coke and the bottle finished”

“Coming you lazy ass”

Ryan stood there, he still wanted to know.

“And Ryan, that was, it was nothing” Ashley said with a big smile on her face as she walked away.

“Nothing aye? Well that’s all good for me.” Ryan said to himself. What does that mean? I quickly got up while Ashley got the coke bottle out of the refrigerator. I went back to my spot and said to Macy “I heard what happened in there”

“What’d they say?”

“Well he felt lost on stuff so Ashley told him everything.”

“Oh”

“But then while they went to get the pizza, apparently Ashley got some text and had a big smile. He asked what Gabe meant when she made it obvious and she said nothing”

“Oh, that’s not bad”

“Here’s the confusing part”

“What”

“When Ashley left Ryan said to himself, nothing aye, good for me”

“What does that mean?”

“I don’t know”

 

After we ate, the first thing Ashley said was “Not washing the dishes, called it!” shortly everyone said it and the last people left were Adam and Joe. I was glad I didn’t have to do the dishes, I hate going dishes. Everyone does, that’s why we have to do the “called it” thing.

 

While Adam and Joe did the dishes, we went to the living room. Ashley and Abbie were having there own conversation. I think about Gabe because that’s where they were looking. Gabe and Abbie have been together for as long as Ashley and Gary, it’s like a match made in heaven. Ashley and Abbie got up and walked over to Gabe who was sitting withGary, she made Abbie sit beside Gabe and then left.Garyleft too. Abbie and Gabe were just sitting alone together talking. Then Ashley went to Aaron and made him go and talk with Macy. She smiled because she loves seeing couples together. It made me smile too. So I walked over to Ashley and said to her “The couples are together except you.”

“Oh well, you know.”

“Um, actually, I don’t know”

“Stuff”

“Or you’re just to scared”

“Am not”

“Yeah right”

“I’m not scared”

“Prove it”

“Fine”

And then she got up and walked over toGary. Aha. My success. I smiled to myself. Then I noticed how Gary, Ashley, Abbie and Gabe started mixing there conversation. Well better then awkward moment of silence. Gabe didn’t want to make it obvious but he wanted to hold Abbie’s hand. His hand kept getting closer to Abigail. I guess Ashley noticed because she grabbed Abigail’s hand and Gabe’s hand and made them hold hands. Then Ryan looked over. He didn’t smile seeing them or anything. He seemed lonely so I walked over to him. “You’re very quite” I said to him

“Yeah well, I don’t really no anyone hear and pretty much have nothing in common, so yeah.”

“Aha, well don’t they make a cute couple?” I said referring to both couples

“Yeah, they do” he said a bit happier.

“They’ve been together since high school”

“Wow that’s a long time”

“Yeah but what a good match”

“It’s so cute how Gabe and Abigail are holding hands right”

“Yeah it is”

“I guess Ashley and Gary are there so they actually do talk”

“Umm, yeah” I said. What? This is suppose to be a double date thing. I guess Ashley didn’t tell him. Whatever, maybe she didn’t want to tell him. So I won’t tell him either.
