This is to to the kids who
Go to school
Depressed but tries to smile
To the ones
Who skip lunch to feel better
About their weight
To the ones
Who study
Every night so they don't feel stupid
To the ones
Who put up with
Narcissistic peers at school
To the ones who
Scream into the pillow
So we wouldn't bother anyone
To the ones
Who find ways to express our pain
Without involving others
Because God forgive that if we
Ask for help then we're so called
"Attention seeking"
To the kids
Who feel worthless
Because that's what they are told
Each and every day
To the kids
Who find comfort
In the darkness
Who find comfort
By being alone
Not because we enjoy it
But because we don't want to drag
Anyone else down
Or to make others sad with our sadness
To the kids
Who refuse to even look
At the razor again
To the ones who
Ignore the bottle on the table
To the ones
Who pick at their skin
And hug their stomachs
From that aching anxiety
That they Aren't worth it
When the truth is
We
Are
Beautiful.
That it's society
Who's been telling us lies
Society who's been breaking us
With deep glares that burn into the back
Of our heads
Fighting it's way into the Crack of my brain
To stay permanently
Until I find something to help forget
The words that they shout.
This is to the ones who fight
Each and everyday
Since the earliest memory
That they could remember,
To those who never get rest
This is to the warriors
Who are already broken
But so contempt on making people
think that we're ok
That we're fixing the cracks with duct tape
Hoping that no one notices
This was for the warriors
To the ones who didn't make it,
To the ones who's cracks showed
And others took it as weakness
So they found the way out
So this is to them
Soon
We will meet again
This is for us
The warriors
Fighting a battle
That's been fought forever
But now it's seems we
