Ryder's POV

After a weekend of intense sectionals practice I was glad to have Monday off even though we were all going to watch Ridley, Rhi and Kitty in the Cheerios' sectionals. We all sat on the bleachers in Carmel high. The music began. Kitty was leading off with a scorpion. Ridley and Rhi did illusions. Then they did their routine and they were damn good at it.

"Go Ridley, go...go...go Ridley" me and Marley cheered shaking our pompoms. Somehow Ridley ended up on top of the pyramid doing a scorpion. They were amazing. The Cheerios' ran off the court.

"Ryder give me an artist any artist?" Mr Shue asked dashing into the choir room.

"Cher" I blurted out.

"Cher?" Ridley repeated screwing his face up.

"Cher was a very sexy woman in her day" Maia announced sitting on the piano.

"Not to sound rude but when are you leaving?" I growled with a put on smile.

"End of this week Bieber cut" Maia snapped. The whole room chuckled lightly.

"A song is only as sexy as the singer" Ridley laughed getting off his seat.

"Hit it" Rid ordered, the band started playing.
