Glitter falling from rotten sugar clouds
Fire screaming for help in pain
Bad decisions make parents not proud
A heart once bright, now broken and unclaimed

Puddles and nice clothes never worked
A kiss and burning touch to leave me hooked
"It's Spring, isn't it?"
Now's not the time
     -Not one bit

This is just what I feared
A fleeting desire; a dying flame
Water mixing with tears
Just standing here in the rain...
