Together Laurence x Aphmau

Note!!! This one shot is based on the time shortly after they got out of the Irene dimension. So nothing that comes after those few episodes will be mentioned!!

3rd person POV

Laurence is set up in the tree house. After a warm greeting from many people in the town, he's exhausted. Levin set up a bunker in the tree house that Aphmau had made...so long ago. It was weird to laurence, Aphmau had made this tree house a couple days ago, and now it's been 15 years.

It didn't bother him too much though. He had been to the neather. Literal hell. At least he hadn't been tortured in the Irene dimension.  The hardest part on him was Garroth. Knowing that he may never see his best friend again, broke his heart. 

Laurence was alone up there for now. The others were to get there any minute. Laurence sat on one of the makeshift beds. He closes his eyes, thinking about life before all this happened. It was fairly easy. His old life was about an hour behind him. 

Footsteps arose in the house. Startled laurence jumped. It was Aphmau. "Man, you scared me!" Laurence half heartedly laughed. 

"Heh, sorry." Aphmau sat on the bed next to Laurence. She let out a deep sigh as she too closed her eyes. "It's crazy right. An hour ago, I said goodbye to my baby...and now he's all grown up." Tears began to form in Aphmau's eyes. Laurence quickly sat next to her, holding her. 

"Yeah, it is crazy." 

"I...I just wish I got to see him grow up you know." She wiped away a tear, trying not to show her signs of weakness. "I'm proud that he's so grown up, and I'm really happy that he took his rightful place as lord...But I wasn't there to help him." Aphmau gave up on trying to hide her tears. It was obvious she was distressed. 

Laurence tried to think of what to say, but could think of nothing. Nothing, not even the torture of being a shadow knight could compare to the pain inflicted on Aphmau. "I'm sorry."Was all he could manage to say. 

"And Garroth is stuck in the Irene dimension, because of me!" Aphmau cries, "I could have stopped Zane, I could have." 

"Aphmau...There was nothing you or I could do. I wish I could have done something too, but I couldn't." Laurence's eyes began to swell up with tears too. He wiped away his own tears. He placed his lips on Aphmau's cheek and kissed the tears away. "No matter what happens, we'll get through this..."

URRGGGGGGG this made me ship Laurmau even more. But I'm still a devoted GARMAU SHIPPER!!!!!!!!
