After the mind reading incident, you and Castiel got on better speaking terms. You two found that you could be very open with each other. You told him more things than you've even told Dean. You told him many things, but you didn't speak to him about your unrequited love for the older Winchester. That would be for another day.

"I don't understand, y/n. How can Jim Moriarty still be alive, if it was clearly shown that he shot himself. Surely, he must be some type of supernatural being."

You sigh, "Cas, I assure you, he is not supernatural. You'll understand once we get to the Abominable Bride. But until then, we gotta catch up on season three."

"There is more?" Castiel says, as his eyes widen, "Y/n, I apologize, but it is very hard for me to understand your human customs. Some of the things you do are quite strange."

"That's alright Cas, I understand. I mean, some of the things we do even weirds me out. If anything seems odd to you, I'll help you out."

Castiel smiles-his sweet, innocent smile. "I am grateful for your assistance, y/n, but you are always helping me out. What about you?"

"What about me?" You asked.

"Well I've noticed that you have been very somber lately. Sam keeps giving you these odd looks. And Dean...you do not even look at him. I sense there Is there something wrong."

You give him a sad glance.

"If you do not wish to tell me, then do not. But I intend to aid you, in return for your assistance."

"Cas, I do want to tell you. It's just...I've never opened up to anyone but Sam about this. And I mean, I've just recently met you. You could go telling anybody, maybe even Dean, and that would break my heart."

Hurt flashed across his face. "Are you implying that I am not trustworthy?"

"What? No! Err...Yes? I don't know," You said, as you cupped your face in your hands, "Cas, I'm sorry. I'm really messed up right now."

"...Cas?"

When you brought your head up from your hands to face Castiel,

He was gone.
