Sophia took a deep breath before entering her father's office. At the age of eighteen, she was old enough now to stay with him. Her father, Maximillion Pegasus, met his deceased wife Cecelia, when they where fourteen. At sixteen, Cecelia gave birth to her. Her mother, ashamed her daughter had had a child so young and out of wedlock, took Sophia away from them, and raised her herself. Soon after, Cecelia and Maximillion where married. They married quickly, but Cecelia died soon after, so Maximillion was unable to .look after his little girl. He was sent photographs of her, wrote to her, and visited her as often as he could, but the Millennium Eye had stopped him in his tracks, and for three long years, Sophia received no letters or emails, or even calls. Then, an apology letter appeared from her father. One that explained many things about ancient powers and a five thousand year old Pharaoh's spirit showing him the way. Sophia was confused, but accepted her fathers apology. After her eighteenth birthday, Sophia boarded a plane to her father. She had finally arrived at Duelist Kingdom, the location of her father's home.

Now, standing outside his office, she knocked on the door. "Come in." Came a voice. A familiar voice that warmed Sophia's heart to the very core. She opened the door. There, in a red suit, siting behind a large oak desk, was her father. Maximillion J. Pegasus. He looked up at her and stood, pushing back the chair. "Sophia? My God." He smiled. He opened his arms to her, walking around the desk towards her. "Daddy!" She cried. She ran at her father and let the tears flow freely. "I missed you so much Daddy!" She whispered. Her stood back to take in his daughter. "You are the image of your mother. But you have my eyes." He remarked fondly. With bouncy blond curly hair, high cheek bones and naturally pink lips, Sophia looked so much like her mother. But with the warm brown of her eyes, there you could see her father. Sophia smiled at him, unknowing to her that the happiness would be cut short.

After catching up for a few hours, Maximillion turns to his daughter and says: "Sophia. One day you're going to inherit this art from me. Do not think of it as a company, but a very fond hobby." Her father reinvented duel monsters, putting creatures into cards, and playing them as a game. He designed all of the monsters, with help from the Ancient Egyptian stone tablets he'd found in his excavations in Egypt, all of the trap and spell cards, and decided the final editing. Over the years he'd built an empire, a mark in history. "We have so much to discuss. But first, you must meet my sole business associate."

Pegasus had called a few days before, telling him to meet on his island , that he had an urgent request and would repay him dearly. Not only did this sound appealing, but he knew Pegasus never called anyone to the island unless they were under much needed emergency circumstances. Seto wandered what it could be.

As his jet touched down on the island, he had to admit, it had a serene, peaceful touch to it. Pegasus resided in the tall castle that had been there for hundreds of years, passed down for generation to generation, then bought off by Pegasus in a state of ruin, whom then restores it to its former glory. Perfect things where always his style. Seto couldn't help but wander why Pegasus had ask him here, or his reasons.

"So who is this business partner of yours?" Sophia asked her dad.

"He owns Kaiba Corporation, in Domino City. He's worked his way to the top, wasn't born into money like most others, I admire him for that." Your father smiled. Sophia wondered what he looked like. Probably in his late forties, early fifties, billions of dollars worth of cash in his back pocket. Sophia laughed. CEO's are hardly ever hot. Apart from that one she saw on the television on the plane at a press conference. What was his name? It definitely begun with an S. Sam something or other, was it?

A knock at the door sounded and Sophia's eyes shot up. Her mouth dropped open. In walked the very man she'd seen on the television. He had brown hair, thick and swept. He had a pointed chin, and high cheek bones. But the most enticing thing to Sophia was the eyes. Each were the colour of sapphires, cold and hard. This was Seto Kaiba, her fathers business partner. He was beautiful, something great Greek sculptors would struggle to produce.
