Alone in the crowd
T'is how I'm bound
Feeling like a ghost
Making no sound - anonymous

I pushed through the branches, making twigs snap under the weight of my deerskin boots.
"Dad!" I yelped, "Please stop!" I knew no help would come, we lived to far away from the town to actually be heard. I felt the rain drops sting my face as I ran after him. The rain was worse than it ever was before.

" I'm making you strong little maxel" he screamed over the rummaging of thunder

The darkness started to close in and it seemed to consume my soul. My senses grew stronger once more like my father told me it would but he was gone.

The rain poured down even harder and pierced my skin, even the trees bent over trying to make shelter for them selfs.

How could my father just leave me like this! All alone once again
