a week has passed. a week since rose had called luke, begging for his forgiveness. a week since luke almost spilled the main reason as to why they're so torn apart. a week since rose had been on social media.

"did she respond yet?" calum sighed, watching luke tap away his messages to rose. "nah, man, and it's actually scaring me. like what if she died or something? or someone kidnapped her? yeah she is annoying - like really fucking annoying, but she's still my ex girlfriend, you know? i care about her clingy ass."

"maybe she just moved on," calum shrugs, sipping on his iced tea.
"or maybe she's busy tweeting her fans," michael snickered as the boys laughed along with him.

"not funny!" luke rolls his eyes, "seriously."

michael holds his hands up in defense, "okay, okay. not funny."

"it was kinda funny, luke," ashton grins. "she is pretty popular now, but the credit's all yours."

"dude, why don't you just go over to her house? like you know where it is, you've been there, so..." calum suggests.

"why the fuck would i? i've been rejecting her the past few months, telling her i wanted to bash her head against the fucking wall. i'd rather not, cal. she's going to kill me." luke shakes his head in annoyance.

he was so irritated with the fact that he, himself, has said these disgusting words to a girl he once loved. or still loves. it was shameful and most definitely embarrassing.

"you owe her at least that much, luke. a visit to her house, an apology and an explanation." ashton says. "i know its hard, but you love her. we all do. she was a great girl."

"a little clingy, dont you think?" luke raises his brow.

"okay, you definitely need a fucking slap!" ashton grabs a water bottle on his way out of the living room. shaking his head in disappointment, he knew luke was much better than that.
