Theatre is probably the only passion or talent of mine other than art that I actually care about at the moment. I really only got into theatre in the past year or so and before that I was mainly focused on band, which you know I hated. regardless, I'm in theatre now, and this is the story of how.

It all started, as most shit in my life does, in eighth grade. My friend was in the theatre program at my middle school, which was shit by the way, and she was a part of stagecraft. She kept telling me to join, but it was to late in the year so I decided to do it in high school. Once I joined, I was also urged into joining the high school's thespian troupe, which helped to introduce me into all of the other realms of theatre. After just one meeting, I was hooked to theatre like a rich college kid is to heroin.

After that I heard about a district competition going on and decided to compete. I built a scene design and brought it to competition; I had a shitty fucking judge who was a massive ass and my final score was two excellents and a fair, with an over all of a good, which is essentially 3/5 (that judge fucked me over). but who cares, the past is in the past, and let's just say that that competition is what got me absolutely hooked to theatre.

The first official show that I was a part of was little shop of horrors and I was a part of run crew, which essentially meant that I ran the show backstage, doing the main bulk of the tech work. It was really fucking fun and by the end of the show I realized that theatre is way better than band. The people are nicer, the timing is easier (usually), the activities are way more fun, the shows and performances are way better and more enjoyable, and the people work together as a group all the time and care about each other so much more.

And that's pretty much how I transitioned from band to theatre; because theatre is way fucking better in all means of the word. Next, how about I talk about my life now. Yeah, i know, i've already written about the main turning points in my life so far, so let's talk about what's happening now. Yeah, that's right, i've finished the beginning to my story, now let's start telling it. Now that you know me, we can talk. Time for my story, or at least what of it I can tell, because thats' what this is about, you know? My story...
