*As of right now, the picture above is Logan. I might change it though. You'll see Connor in another chapter; he's gorgeous.*
After 20 minutes, we pulled up to a building I didn't recognize, but Ashlynn swore we were at the right place. As we walked inside, I was slammed with loud music from the club. I looked around to see a bunch of people our age.
"I guess this is the right place." I yell to Ash.
I look over and see two guys walking towards us. One had long-ish brown hair, which I assumed was Connor. The other had short blonde hair that swept up on the top. This one, I assumed, was Logan.
Ashlynn greeted the one with brown hair. "Hey Connor! This is my friend, Eden."
"Nice to meet you, Eden! This is my friend, Logan."
Ha! I guessed correctly.
"Wow, you're gorgeous." Logan said. He had a thick British accent.
Damn, that's hot.
"Thank you." I squeaked while blushing...I really need to get out more.
I went to look down at my necklace but before I could, someone ripped it off from behind me. I quickly turned to see who it was. Why would someone steal my necklace?!
It was Ashlynn.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I screamed at her.
"You need to have fun and stop worrying about that stupid necklace!" She whispered harshly at me.
"Fine. But please give it back so it doesn't get lost. I'll tuck it into my dress."
She smiles and agrees.
We turn around to the boys and see them staring at us. I guess this could be a fun night.
Logan takes my hand and leads us back to a booth. We all sit down. Ashlynn across from me and Logan next to me.
"So", Logan says, "Where did you two come from?"
Damn that accent. Okay, Eden, stop. You need to calm yourself.
I wait for Ashlynn to answer but she's already engrossed in her own conversation with Connor.
Thanks for leaving me hanging, Ashlynn.
"Rochester. What about you? I see you have an accent."
Really Eden? Of all the things to mention.
"Oh, yeah. I was born in London and moved here when I was seven."
Wait, so does that mean he doesn't have a necklace? Does he even know what they are?
"I bet you're wondering if I know about the necklace. Yes, I do. But not very much. That's why I'm taking that one class...War and the Outcome."
Oh, I didn't even see him in class.
"With Mr.Willow in seventh hour?" I ask.
"Yeah, I saw you in there. You probably didn't see me, though. I tend to sit in the back. I'm also in your second hour, Music Appreciation."
"Well, I guess you'll have to sit by me, now that I know where you're hiding."
He laughs. We continue our light conversation, when Ashlynn yells "Eden! Let's dance!"
Before I knew what was happening, she pulls me into the large crowd of people dancing, with the boys following shortly behind us. If I dance, it's going to be with my best friend. I'm not comfortable dancing with anyone else.
As we dance, I look over at Logan watching me with hungry eyes. God, his eyes were gorgeous. They were hazel, full of golden specks.
Connor had pulled Ashlynn away from me, but I kept dancing.
I looked over at Logan again, daring him to come dance with me.
Wait. What am I doing? I don't dance with guys. Before I can change my mind, his hands wrap around my waist sending shivers down my back.
How could I feel this way when I didn't even know if he was my soulmate or not?
I pushed that thought to the back of my head. No, I wasn't doing this tonight.
I feel him bring my hips closer to his as we move in sync with the beat of the song.
"You are so incredible, Eden." He whispers in my ear.
I smile, and the rest of the night fades away.
*Omg. What just happened?? Did good girl Eden just let everything go? And how about the fact that Logan is in BOTH of Mr. Willow's classes with her? The two hours where....her necklace flickered blue? Or am I just putting ideas into y'all's head....We'll see....*
