"Cas? Can you hear me? It's been months since I've heard from you. From anyone. After you left...Dean...he just, he lost it. He started drinking more, he was always angry or emotionless, and he had begun acting completely on impulse; not caring what happened. More so than usual. I'm really worried about him, Cas. And I know wherever you are, that you do too. He left two weeks after you did Cas; last I heard he was on a hunt...and I haven't heard from him since. It's been months now and I'm really worried Cas. Castiel, where are you? I need your help. Dean needs you help Cas." I waited, and waited, and waited. Twenty minutes later and there was still nothing. Just like always. I sighed and got up.
Castiel left almost a year ago. Dean followed soon after, claiming he was going on a hunt a few states over. I tried to stop him, but...he's changed. Between the Mark of Cain and The Darkness, Dean isn't the same person he was. Hell, none of us are. Dean and I barely escaped it before, sitting outside that old bar when it consumed the Impala. It was awful. When it surrounds you, you feel so hopeless. So alone. And if that doesn't kill you, it invades every fiber of your being. The good gets sucked out of you. Your soul gets so broken, so incredibly corrupt that even demons run from you. I've seen the things it can do to people. What it did to Dean...
I shuddered and grabbed a stack of files and old religious text. After Dean left I began finding out all I can about The Darkness. After a few hours of finding nothing like always, I threw the books down and stood up with enough force to knock over the chair. "Damn it! Cas! Castiel! Where in the hell are you!? Please!?" I frustratedly ran my fingers through my hair. I began pacing around the room. This is useless. I thought to myself."Just like you are."
I froze in my tracks. "Hello?" Silence. I walked into the command room. All of the computers are clear. No sign of a breach or anything. Hmm. I brushed it off as lack of sleep and got back to work.
** So like I wanT to finish this but idk. The voice Sam hears is Lucifer and Dean is cursed which is why he's been so muderous but he's also depressed and suicidal because Cas left. Cas is with God in a place that doesn't exist in any reality or in time. So yeah.***
