Tumbling through the strong wind of pain,
I've overcome,
Those tears and moments of shame,
Are memories now and are forever done.
You let me see a glimpse of hope that I will be loved,
And that I will be treated right,
But today's not the time,
I just have to wait and enjoy this life.
I'm not regretful to what I have done to lead you to this decision,
I though am thankful that you let me go,
It showed me true reality,
That forever is not based on a short period of feeling.
There's no need to reminisce,
No need to weep and sob through memories,
In times like this you just need to accept and move on,
It may be hard but this is the reality you have to face.
