Got me blinded by the future,
Plans that tied me up to reality,
Fear that trapped me in my own abyss,
Got me locked up from the sight that seems to hard to reach.
I'm too scared of commitments,
I might just be a burden in your happiness,
It's better to keep my distance than to be hurt,
"I love you for a long time now." But I would'nt let this go in one blurt.
I paint you secretly,
As a sign that you're always here with me,
But I wish in real life I'd have you in my arms,
Just us and no one else that could judge.
Know that you're the one for me,
But sadly this is reality,
Cause these illusions are just dreams,
Because in real life there are no happy endings.
