Camping Trip

Lily's POV

"Good morning" I smiled pouring orange juice in a glass cup, handing it to Romeo.

"Morning" he replied looking down, mumbling a thank you before sitting down.

"R, we really need to talk" I sighed sitting next to him at the dining table.

"We don't have anything to talk about" he shrugged, not looking up.

"Yes we do, we need to talk about how you ran away from Brook and I the other day at our old school. I needed to talk to you Romeo" I said lifting up his chin so that he was looking at me.

"Lily I just don't want you to leave, I felt so empty when I thought your decision was to leave. Imagine how much of a mess I'd be after two years" he sighed.

"I'm not going anywhere my home is here. Not in New York my home is in London with you" I smiled kissing his cheek.

"I'm sorry for my behavior yesterday, I ran all the way to the airport but I couldn't find you anywhere. My heart just fell and I couldn't function anymore" He mumbled, giving me a side hug.

"Well you see this?" I asked him pointing at the ring he gave me not too long ago.

"What about it?" He questioned, sitting up.

"It's a promise ring, meaning unconditional love. No matter what we go through Romeo we're going to get through it together" I smiled.

"You're right so since today is Saturday and we don't have to be on set, what do you want to do?" He asked pouring himself another cup of orange juice.

"You know I'm still not that great at surfing, plus Brook did mention to me once that he wanted to learn as well" I smirked.

"What are you saying?" Romeo asked confused.

"I'm saying, wouldn't it be cool if we went to the beach so you could teach me and Brook how to surf?" I smiled.

"But you already know how to surf" Romeo chuckled.

"I only know how to stand on the board, I don't know how to keep my balance and I feel like if you give me some lessons it'll be easier for me to play my part for the show, please!" I pouted.

"Okay but only because I want to" he said pointing a finger at me.

"But one problem" he added.

"What?" I asked getting out a gummy bear from the candy jar.

"Mum and Dad are taking Cruz and Harper with them to the mall today" He replied.

"Well Brooklyn is seventeen do you think he could drive us?" I asked going on my phone to check the weather for today.

"Yeah, but he never really drove us anywhere without parent supervision" he sighed.

"Oh right-" but I got cut off by David as he walked into the kitchen.

"I can come with, Victoria wants some bonding time with Cruz and Harper today anyways" David smiled as he opened the fridge.

"Really Dad?" Romeo smiled at him.

"Of course son, but only on one condition" he smiled.

"What?" Romeo sighed.

"You need to kiss me on the lips" David smiled pulling Romeo into a hug.
