The Wave Riders

Romeo's POV

"Romeo phone call!" Mum called from the kitchen.

"Coming!" I replied quickly grabbing the house phone clicking answer.

"Hello is this Romeo Beckham and Lily Thompson?" A man asked through the phone.

"No just Romeo how may I help you?" I asked.

"Well my name is Dan Schneider and I was wondering if you and Lily can audition for our new Tv show called The Wave Riders" I stood still for a moment before speaking.

"You're the director that directed iCarly!" I shouted.

"Yes I am so are you two up for it?" He chuckled from the other line.

I thought about it, "We'll be there" He gave me the address then hung up.

"Lil!" I shouted running up the stairs to find her texting someone.

"Babe!" I smiled hugging her from behind making her laugh.

"Yeah?" She asked still typing away, I took the phone away from her and started telling her the news.

"The director from iCarly asked us to audition for a Tv show?" She screamed squealing.

"But one problem" I sighed.

"What?" She frowned.

"There's going to be surfing involved" I don't know why but whenever the word surf comes up it just makes her upset.

"We're not going" She said looking at the wall.

"Babe why do you hate surfing so much?" I asked.

"I don't hate it, it's just I hate the fact that everyone else can surf but I can't" She pouted.

"Are you kidding? I can teach you everything you need to know, plus he didn't even say we had to be professionals" I smiled.

"You sure?" She asked.

"Positive" I said kissing her cheek.

"Come on we have to tell everyone" I said quickly pulling her out of the room.

Lily's POV

Acting. That's all I could think of right now. I don't even know how to act, so why does the director from iCarly want me? I'm probably going to screw everything up, I'm so nervous.

"Wow you guys, you went from being in the front of fashion magazines to acting for a Tv series? I'm so proud of you two" Victoria smiled hugging me, then pinching Romeo's cheeks.

"Mum it's an audition, we didn't even get a role yet. Plus we might not even get picked" Romeo shrugged.

"Oh nonsense, you're going to the audition and you're gonna get your roles. I guarantee it" Victoria smiled before walking out.

"When are you guys going?" Brook asked me.

"Tomorrow, I can't even surf" I said making him chuckle but stopped once I gave him a glare.

"Wait, your serious?" He asked dumbfounded.

"No I'm totally joking, of course I'm being serious you duck face!" I shouted putting my head in my hands.

"I'm sorry Lil, it's just hard to believe because you're basically born in the water. You love the ocean" he said patting my back.

"You're right, I guess I just don't want to make a fool out of myself" I told him honestly.

"Your gonna do fine cheer up Lil" he said kissing my cheek leaving me here to think.
