Awkward Much?

"L-luke, I didn't know you work at the pizza place..." I said trailing off.

"You don't know a lot of things about me." He said not stuttering once.

Did I ever tell you how I like when boys are mysterious. Well I do, and he may be awkward at times, but that makes me wonder, is there a reason behind all of this? I really want to know more about him.

"Well um thanks for the pizza." I said handing him the money.

"No problem." He handed me the pizza and our fingers brushed over each others.

I wanted to say something to him, but he was already down the pathway and at his car. I sighed, closing the door and going back inside. Do I scare him off? He always runs away and I feel like it's because of me.

"What took you so long?" Michael asked. Shit...

"Uh I dropped the pizza boxes. Thankfully the pizza didn't fall out." I lied.

To be honest, I really want to get to know him. I don't care about what other people think of him.

"Okay... Lets eat!" Calum said, taking the boxes out of my hands.

Once he set the boxes down, the boys basically took everything, leaving me with five pieces. I just chuckled to myself and grabbed some pizza. I sat down an the couch next to Mikey and Cal. I watched as the scarfed down their pizza.

"You guys are animals." I laughed.

"Tunhks." Ashton said with his mouth full, which made me laugh more.

"Pigs." I mumbled.

"Hey, I heard that." Mike said smirking.

"You were meant to." I lied.

"Sure I was." Mikey laughed.

I woke up with my head laying on Michael's chest and his arms wrapped around me. What made it even weirder is that he didn't have a shirt on. Okay maybe not weird... Maybe better. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if I keep bumping into Luke, maybe I just might not have a crush on Mike anymore.

"Mike!" I Yelled into his ear.

He jumped, making me fall to the ground. In the inside I was laughing like a maniac, but on the outside I acted hurt. I laid on the ground wincing and holding my head. Michael stopped laughing and bent down to see if I was ok.

"Blah!" I screamed in his face.

It was his turn to fall on the ground. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I busted out laughing. I probably looked like a huge dork rolling around on the ground. You know when your in that mood where everything's funny? Well I was definitely in that mood.

"It wasn't even that funny Madds." Michael said chuckling.

"I-I Know." I said in between laughing.

Pretty soon Michael was laughing too so when Calum and Ashton walked in they gave us a weird look and started laughing at us. I'm pretty sure we looked like we were having a seizure.

"Guys we should get to school now." Ashton said

"Oh my god Ashton. You always act like a dad." Calum said laughing.

"Okay, I don't care if you get in trouble. Come on Mikey and Madds."

I followed him out to the car. He was the only one that could drive since he is the oldest. I giggled when I saw how Calum was following us. I heard the tune of Mayday Parade's Jersey and couldn't help but to sing along. Jersey is my favorite song by far.

Because Jersey just got colder and I'll have you know I'm scared to death

That everything that you had said to me was just a lie until you left

"You sing really good Madds." Mike said.

"Ehhhh. I guess, but you guys sing way better." I stuck out my tongue.

We pulled up at school and I sighed. Another day of prison. I'll admit school wasn't so bad, but that doesn't mean I like it. School and I have a love-hate relationship. I said goodbye to the guys and walked down the hall.

I made my way towards my locker and when I opened it there was a note inside. It seemed pretty special because it was in an envelope with fancy writing on the front. It was sealed together with a heart sticker. You know those hearts that were sealed to those valentines that you were forced to give each other when you were little. It looked so adorable. I picked it up and on the envelope it read:

Today was August 10th and I was even more curious now. How am to wait that long until I opened it?! Anybody in their right minds would know that I'm not a patient person. Hell, I'd open it right away, but somehow this feels special. Like maybe it will be a huge surprise. Maybe life changing? Hahaha I doubt it, but I decided to wait.

"Hey what you got there Madds?" I looked up to see the boys towering over me.

I hid it behind my back and said "Oh it's nothing. Just a thank you card from my music teacher because I stayed after school and helped her organize papers and clean the room." I'm an expert at lying.

"Oh, okay. We got to get to class. See ya later Madds." I breathed out the breath I didn't know I was holding in.

I turned to my locker and put grabbed the stuff I needed for my next class, but when I turned back around...

He was there.

A/N Lol trying to make things a little more interesting. So i'm sorry for taking so long to update, but I'm like really excited for this book because I finally have the whole thing planned out yay.
