Awkward Much?

I snapped out of my flashback. I sighed. I knew he would become a nobody, but I didn't want that to happen. I somehow felt I could stop it from happening. Girls secretly talk about him, but they don't even know them. Sure I don't either, but I want to. I know if I ever talked to him, I would become what he was. A nobody.

"Hey Maddie. Wanna sit with us at lunch today?" Michael asked.

Michael and I became best friends ever since we were paired as science partners. We've became very close, and I just. I may or may not still have a crush on him. Yes I know he's my best friend, but he's just so perfect.

"But of course. You know I would." I said smiling

"Yesssssss." Mikey said and ran off to whatever class he had.

I smiled because I had my favorite class right now. Music. I'd say I have some talent. I can play the piano and sing just a little. I know for sure that I'm not the best singer. I mean if you ever hear Michael, he has the voice of an angel.

"Okay class, settle down. A student is coming into this class from art, so welcome him."

"Um hi. Where should I sit?" He asked. Yep it was none other than Luke Hemmings.

"There's an empty seat next to Madelyn. You can sit next to her."

The whole class was silent as he sat next to me. He just sat there awkwardly. I feel really bad for him. I gave him a warm smile and started the assignment our Music teacher told us to do. This class felt like it was going to take a while and our teacher is really nice, so she let me listen to music on my phone.

I had finished the assignment so I just started doodling in my notebook. I was interrupted by the bell indicating it was time to switch for our next class. I grabbed my notebook and other shit and looked around the room. Everyone was rushing out the door to get to their next class.

It was finally lunch time aka my favorite part of the day. I was supposed to sit with Mike and his friends. I haven't been sitting with them lately, because my teachers would always hold me back. I walked to our lunch table. I wasn't that hungry. Although if anyone offers me food, I could take it of their hands. Ok to tell the truth, I have no money for lunch.

"Hey Maddie. Why don't you have any food?" Mikey asked.

"Stupid mom didn't give me any stupid money." I grumbled.

"Oh, I can buy you lunch." He offered.

"No I'm fine. I'll get food when I go home. Most likely I'll order some pizza." I said smirking since I knew he loved pizza.

"You are?! Can I pleaseeeeee come over after school?" He asked. Typical Michael.

"Sure. I'm guessing you guys want to come too?" I asked looking at the others. Calum nodded his head along with Ashton.

"Ok all of you can come over after school." I said smiling. I love having people over.

We talked about other random things, but it was time to get going to our next classes. We only had three left. I was running late and the hallways were empty. I wasn't looking where I was going and bumped into someone, and they fell on top of me.

I looked up to see someone that was very hot.

Luke Hemmings.
