Awkward Much?

I jumped, but it was only Luke thankfully. Holy shit he scared me. I let out a huge breath and called out for Luke.

"Hey Luke!" I yelled across the hallway.

He turned around and just stood there. I jogged up to him and smiled. He was wearing a Nirvana shirt with black pants and his hair up. There was a single hole in his jeans which looked weird, but cute on him. He had a goofy smile on his face when he looked at me.

"We keep meeting up in these halls don't we." He said licking his lip.

"Hey, at least we aren't on top of each other again." He laughed at that which made me smile.

"So I was wondering, if you wanted to meet up after school?" I asked closing my eyes.

I wasn't going to open my eyes until he answered me. Everything seemed to be silent though and that made me scared he would say no. Why wouldn't he though? I think I came on too stro-

"Sure." He said, interrupting my thoughts.

"Wait what?"

"I said sure. Where do you want to meet up?" I was still stunned he had said yes. I was absolutely sure he would say no.

"Um do you know that old park on Rivers Lane?"

"Actually I do. You want to meet there?"

"Um, sure. What time?" I said calmly but in the inside I was going crazy.

"How about 5:30?"

"That's good for me."

"Okay see you later, Maddie."

"Cool." I said trying to contain a huge smile.

Once he was gone, I jumped up and down. I probably looked crazy, but nobody saw me. Little did I know somebody was video taping our whole conversation. One little talk was going to ruin my high school life. I was leaving the building when a certain crazy haired boy named Michael jumped in front of me.

"Hey Mads." He yelled smiling at me. I laughed at his cuteness.

"Hey Michael, what's up?"

"You wanna help me dye my hair?" He asked

"Sure. What color?"

"Green. I already have the dye at my house."

"Okay but we have to be done by 5:30." I looked down at my watch to see it was 3:30 right now.

"Yes we'll be done by then."

I got into Michael's car and my favorite song started playing. Cool Kids by Echosmith was blasting out of the speakers. I smiled and turned it up. This song always made me happy. It's very catchy and I always find myself singing along.

"And she said

I wish that I could be like the cool kids

Cause all the cool kids

They seem to fit in." I started to sing

Before I knew it we were at Michael's house. As I walked in, something jumped out at me and I jumped Back and screamed. I could already hear Michael's laugh and I couldn't help but blush. In front of me, Michael's cat, Will, was sitting and licking himself.

"I-I can't believe Wi-i-ll scared-d you." Michael laughed.

"Hahaha." I sarcastically said

"I'm sorry Maddie." Michael cooed ushering me into a hug.

"Whatever." I mumbled into his chest.

"I know you love me." He said playfully. I felt something in my stomach but I ignored it.

"Let's just get this over with."

One Hour later and Micheal's hair was green. I have to admit that he looked really attractive. Like really attractive. I really wanted to run my fingers through his hair. It just looked so soft and fluffy.

"What do you think?"

"I think that I really want to run my fingers through it." Did I just say that?

"Go ahead." He said leaning his head down.

I ran my hand through his hair and I was surprised. I could be hearing wrong but I think Michael just moaned. Michael looked up blushing and I knew he moaned. I could feel the awkwardness fill the room.

"I should go." I blurted out.

A/N I feel like this was a really sucky chapter but at least I updated. Okay so i've kind of been avoiding updating because this book sucks BUT THEN I SAW I HAVE 5K READS WHAT. I don't know how I did it but thank you for reading :-)

But Michael's moan omg and Luke and Maddie basically are going on a date wow. I'm feeling some kind of way.

I just want to say that I started writing this book when I first started obsessing over 5sos so it's kind of really bad sorry. Also this is dedicated to claryvette because she writes the best stories ever.
